Ep. 102, The 2022 WGOH Best Tournament (Nick Cage movies), 5 beers and a cocktail

Best Tournament in which they countdown the best Nicolas Cage movies, seeded by their Rotten Tomatoes percentage and money made. We picked 4 movies from each decade of Nic Cage's illustrious career, and broke it down. Also, we had a plethora of adult beverages. the variety was as eclectic as Nic Cage movies, and this is what the lads had: Sean had Space Komet Citra (a 7%ABV IPA by Karmic Daaru Company out of Branford, CT), and Leave The Gun, Take The Cannoli (a 7.4% ABV stout by 902 Brewing out of Jersey City, NJ). Andrew had Big Wave (a 4.4% ABV golden ale by the Kona Brewing Company out of Kailua Kona, HI) and a cocktail called the Bitter End (a variation on the whiskey sour using Wild Turkey 101, Campari, and bitters). Tomo had the Solstice Lager (a 4.5% ABV lager by Stella Artois out of Leuven, Belgium) and Ahooga (a 7.8% ABV imperial pilsner by Hackesack Brewing out of Hackensack, NJ). So get yourself one

Joining us was young Miss Gaby Penaherrera, star of the short film Move On. And because this is the 100th episode, we reviewed the 100th episode of the following iconic TV shows: Law & Order: SVU, The X-Files, The Office, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Why four TV shows, you ask? Because we had four Johnnie Walker whiskeys to sample, that's why! Black Label, Gold Label Reserve, Johnnie Walker 18, and Blue Label. Needless to say, much fun was had, many tangents were achieved, and lots of good whiskey was imbibed. Ep. 94 - The 2021 WGOH?!? Best Tournament (Part 2), highest grossing movies, gross beers

After we determined the elite eight in episode 93, we broke down the brackets until we declared our winner, [insert movie winner here]! We also tried a new set of gross sounding beers, with Andrew sampling Floofer 2, an imperial milk stout with strawberry, cacao nibs, and peanuts (10% ABV, n/a IBU). A product of collaboration between Skygazer Brewing Company (North Haven) and Fat Orange Cat Brew Co. (East Hampton), both out of Connecticut. Sean and Tomo sampled Chocolate Covered Strawberry Milkshake IPA (7.2% ABV, 15 IBU), brewed with milk sugars, strawberry juice, and Madagascar vanilla beans.
