It's been a long while, and Drive Back the Night is quickly rolling up on 10 years being a podcast! Time flies and easily escapes us. Ryan and Ethan have a sit down to discuss the state of the podcast and what might be in the works to finish this project we love, enjoy!

Life as a royal is hard. Managing 300 planets is a thankless job. So when your preening princess of a daughter starts to steal some of your thunder and becomes a favorite of the masses, its time to take her out. At least that's what Shineoa San thought he was doing when he loaded his daughter on a ship and sent her off to her doom. But his plan backfired when the very pirate he thought was going to kill her fell in love with her instead. Now he's chased them down into some enzyme swamp on a no-name backwater world to finish the job. A conference of the galaxies greatest minds is convened to brainstorm about the Magog Worldship and what could be done to prevent disaster. Who better to put in charge of this meeting of the minds? Seamus Harper. No, we don't think that was a particularly smart idea either, but Dylan was called away on another matter so this is what we got. It's an episode of intrigue, name calling, lots of sass, and yes, brains: "Machinery of The Mind".

Welcome back to Drive Back the Night, in this episode: Dylan fulfills a 300 year old prophecy. Beka and Rhade get stumped by these faux walls. A young woman is reunited with her Spencer Gift's toy, and Harper loses a jacket. So sit back, switch over and hope we don't have a burnout in the "Conduit to Destiny". 

It's a massive two part discussion event as we consider the return of Tyr Anasazi, the imminent arrival of the Magog World Ship, a new crew member and the nature of Trance Gemini. But mainly we discuss the closing out of Tyr's story. It's an episode 6 month's in the making! Dylan and crew are on the hunt to recover "File D" a devastating bit of technology that has fallen into Nietzschean hands. Dylan has to play video games, bluff, rebuff unwanted advancements and fight off a Magog scout fleet to recover "File D". Buckle up and make sure your gravity shielding is powered up for this wild ride, it's "Harper/Delete".

Any combat situation is a gamble, sometimes you lose and the house collects. For the High Guard cruiser Lancer's Hope, their luck ran out. Dylan responds by rushing headlong into the unknown to find out what happened at Almaghast only to find himself in a situation that is stranger than fiction. Time to place your bets as to how Dylan will handle himself in the episode "Double Or Nothingness".

 She's baaaack! Molly drops in for a visit with Dylan...actually, it's the other way around. Then there's the fact that not much visiting is happening because a mad, 500 year old android named Kroton is trying to kill all organic life in the galaxies. But hey, it was good to see Molly again anyway...right? We find out in Waking the Tyrant's Device.

 Futures told, get yer futures told here. Dylan and crew get their futures read. But will the cloud get it right, or is something more sinister at play here? Find out as we delve into the episode, Pieces of Eight.

 Last time on Andromeda, things pretty much went to heck in a hand basket. Tyr is gone, the Commonwealth fleet is wrecked, all seems lost. In this moment of crisis, Dylan and crew pause for a moment to consider pushing on or turning their backs on the galaxies. Good thing they agree to press on, because that would make for one depressing episode if they didn't. First thing to address: Paroo, former security head of the New Systems Commonwealth, and one heck of a basket-case. Dylan and crew claw their way back from an abyss, only to find themselves starring into the face of The Abyss. Pay close attention, you are about to get Answers Given To Questions Never Asked. 

 We pause from the regular episodic discussions in order to reflect on the third season of Andromeda. Listener emails and tweets considered as well. We wrap the discussion with our Top 3/Bottom 3 episodes of the season. 

 Tyr Anasazi has been plotting his revenge on the Drago-Kasov pride for years. Now, with all his pieces in position, it is time for him to make his final move against them. How will this affect Dylan and the rest of the Andromeda crew? The spotlight is about to be extinguished on one of our characters, but not before we see the Shadows Cast By A Final Salute.

 A new ship, Resolution of Hector, is getting ready to join the line and some old familiar faces are on board it as well. Harper and Rommie get into some trouble getting it ready to fly and Dylan and crew have to come to their rescue. All except Tyr, he has his own appointment to keep with the doctor. It's a busy day on this episode, Day of Judgment, Day of Wrath. 

 A man claiming to be a descendant of Dylan Hunt's mentor from 300 years ago, saves his life and claims to need Dylan's help for an important mission. But Dylan finds The Patriarch to be in stark contrast to the Admiral he once knew. The sun could soon be setting on both humans and Nietzscheans depending on the outcome of this mission, it's Twilight of the Idols.
