After 50 episodes, I've decided that I need to prioritise what I'm doing in my free time so that I can use my time effectively, and produce content for the places where it gets most engagement. I want to use the podcast to raise awareness of dogs like Holly who are kept only for breeding litter after litter of puppies, often not in good conditions. When you think about puppy mills or puppy farms, we often concentrate on the puppies, but there are also dogs like Holly who are kept to breed litter after litter – and they need our help. I didn't mention the end of Cindy's life in the episode because I wanted to focus on the fun things, but she lived with me from the age of 19 months to 12 years, when she got cancer and I had to make one of the most difficult decisions I've made.
