This is part 2 of my chat with Tanya Silveira. Tanya is a Registered Music Therapist and Neurologic Music Therapist based in Sydney, Australia. Tanya is currently undergoing her PhD research with the National Music Therapy Research Unit at the University of Melbourne (under the supervision of Dr Jeanette Tamplin and Dr Simone Dorsch). She is researching the use of Functional Electrical Stimulation with Music Therapy for Stroke survivors with zero upper limb movement and measuring the impact on function and well being. I chat to Master Piano Technician Paul Tunzi about his discoveries of this craft and his exploration of the future of this profession. He is very passionate about the future of this trade and is conducting some very interesting research. He's flown around the world to work with some of the most special instruments.
