He started practicing Music Therapy through a university interest group whilst studying his Undergrad in Music, majoring in Violin. He then went on to study a masters in Pedagogy and completed the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy course in Sydney, Australia. Currently he is working as a clinician with children with disabilities as well as teaching the Music Therapy course at the Toho College of Music. He is also a board member of the Japanese Music Therapy Association.
