This week on Anime Pulse we got gender swapping isekai dads, smart phone limitations, and apartment hunting. Up first Joseph gives the sad news about his offer on a house, and Andrew asks the community who their top female villains in anime are. Then in the industry news there is none, but don't worry, we got another edition of Would or Wouldn't. Finally in the last review before Andrew heads to Japan for two weeks, the guys team up to tackle Joseph's first foray into the villainess genre but with an otaku father twist to the mix.

In a turn of events we decided to take a trip to the island of Japan as a theme. What kind of theme could we pluck out of cinema from the land of the rising sun? Would it be films of the samurai? This week on Anime Pulse we got busty elf girls, hot anime takes, and Discord problems. Up first the IRL news has Joseph talk about house hunting and Discord AI being really dumb, and Andrew talks about his upcoming trip to Japan. Then in the industry news the latest Demon Slayer movie stole the show at the box offices, and a really dumb person gets hired into the gaming industry. And finally our review has Joseph and Andrew perform the fusion dance while returning from death, who the newest best girl is, and how many more season they can get away with keeping Rem in a coma.

This week on Anime Pulse we got ramen, retired hitmen, and Andrew forgetting to post the topic question until the last second. Up first Joseph recounts an amazing takeout experience as well as his gaming updates, while Andrew is packing his bags and reserving his seats for his trip to Japan. Then in the industry news we talk about why you should never meet your heroes. And finally the reviews wrap things up with Joseph packing on the pounds after becoming a family man assassin, and Andrew heads to a village of swordsmiths to get a new blade made for beheading demons.

Then in the industry news Japan's postal service will no longer ship to the US, and how Japan is using AI to prepare for Fuji's next eruption. Finally a return to reviews, however short it may be, as Joseph finds a job that offer a 401k, dental, eye care, and 60 days of PTO and all he needs to do is manage a demon lord's army. Andrew meanwhile helps a little girl get over just a tiny bit of bullying, by taking her picture.

We’ve done quite a few Nicolas Cage films so what’s a few more? The question is can we keep finding themes within his filmography as it shrinks while we review it?
