Linda Knewtson – Master of Social Work – Certified in Gerontology Manager at LivHOME Home Care and Care Management Linda is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience in the social work field. Linda comes to LivHOME with experience working with adults, seniors and families in many settings, including providing psychiatric inpatient and medical outpatient services. For the last 12 years, Linda has provided psychotherapy for seniors in assisted living facilities, nursing facilities and in their homes in the Houston area. Areas of specialization include mood disorders, cognitive decline and end-of-life issues. She provides support and education to families affected by these challenges. Linda earned her bachelor of arts degree in psychology at the University of Kansas and her master of social work degree at the University of Pittsburgh along with a certificate in gerontology.

Certified Senior Advisor, Sandi Heintz answers this question. Sandi has a Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Policy and is a Certified Senior Advisor. She is current President of JCL Heintz Corporation dba Right at Home of Northwest Houston. In this capacity, she has the opportunity to stand in the gap and provide assistance to individuals who may need additional care to live as independently as possible. She is also a facilitator for the Powerful Tools for Caregivers course. This course helps family caregivers learn tools to make them a more effective caregiver and reminds them to properly care for themselves. Her life’s purpose is to demonstrate there is no greater love than to serve those who cannot do the same for you!
