Scripture repeatedly warns that not everything labeled “worship” is accepted by God. From empty rituals to mindless prayers and man-made traditions, God exposes practices that appear spiritual yet are ultimately vain. In this episode, we examine what God Himself calls meaningless—and why sincerity, truth, and obedience matter more than repetition, form, or appearance. True worship is not about outward performance but inward submission to God’s Word.

In moments of waiting, fear, or uncertainty, the human heart is tempted to create substitutes for God. From the golden calf at Mount Sinai to the lifeless idols condemned by the prophet Jeremiah, Scripture reveals a recurring danger: shaping something visible to replace the invisible God. This episode confronts modern idolatry—not carved images alone, but anything we fashion to give us comfort, control, or reassurance apart from the Lord. God calls His people to trust Him even when He seems silent and unseen.

In John 13:7, Jesus speaks words that echo through every season of waiting and confusion: “What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.” Those words remind us that God’s work is often hidden before it is revealed. In this episode, we explore how God’s purposes are frequently misunderstood in the moment by looking at the lives of Noah, Joseph, and Job. Noah built an ark under clear skies, trusting God without seeing the rain. Joseph endured betrayal, slavery, and prison without knowing a throne awaited him. Job suffered deeply, questioning God’s silence while remaining anchored in faith. None of them understood then—but each would understand later. This episode encourages believers who are struggling to make sense of God’s timing, His methods, or His silence. When understanding is delayed, faith must lead. Yesterday, we talked about keeping mercy and truth at the center of your life. Today, we are looking at a couple real life examples of men who did just that, and see how God worked in them. If you are in your darkest hour right now, it is not the time to abandon your faith. Instead, it’s time to keep focused on God, because He may be preparing you for something beyond your wildest dreams.

In Proverbs 3, the writer lists two things we must make sure is at the very center of our lives. In fact, he tells us not to let them forsake us, it’s that important. Is your life centered on these two things?

As we turn our thoughts to the new year ahead of us, many of us will utter the phrase, “In the New Year I will…..” We’ll make our new year resolutions-things we want to change about us and the life we live. Sadly, many of those resolutions will fail in the first couple weeks. In todays episode, I’ll show you some resolutions we can make to be the Christian that God wants us to be.

In this episode, we look at the topics of idolatry and adultery, both of which are things that shouldn’t be in the life of the Christian. But, are you committing spiritual adultery and cheating on God with idols? People and the nations have been punished for idolatry, God takes it seriously. We’ll look at how we can stay away from cheating on God.

Today, we are looking, again, at Proverbs 2:12-15. We see, in these verses, how easily we can fall away from the right path, into the evilness of false teachings. Unless we study and apply the Bible, we will fall for any and all teachings-whether they are biblically sound or not. This episode gives practical advice, through Scripture, to help make sure you stay on the right path, the path that is led by the Spirit.

Today, we are looking at Proverbs 2:10-2 to discover the benefits of Godly wisdom. I’m not talking about intelligence, I am talking about the skill and ability to live the way God wants. Some of the smartest people I know have no knowledge. In these verses, we will see what wisdom does for us, and what wisdom keeps us from.

Did you know that most Americans (exact percent shared in the episode) feel they are above average in intelligence? Worldly wisdom doesn’t mean anything to God. In fact, He said He will destroy the wisdom of man. How, then, can we attain the true wisdom that God desires us to have? Take a listen to todays episode to learn how to Find True Wisdom

Todays episode is studying Proverbs 1:10-19 where we are taught not to follow along with, or walk in the paths and ways of the sinner. As Christians, we need to make sure we don’t fall back into sin. Instead, we need to walk in the ways of the LORD. In our world today, it’s easy to give into peer pressure, it’s easy to walk in the ways of the world. It takes self control and the LORD to make sure you stay on the right path.

We are talking about spiritual growth today. Why Proverbs, you ask? Because Proverbs gives us insights into the things of God, His ways and how we should live. Proverbs helps us understand and helps us increase our knowledge. Don’t be satisfied with a surface knowledge on this things of God, dive deeper.
