Reason For Truth

Let’s learn from our lessons in that when we SIN NOW-WE WILL PAY LATER. And as such, while God will always forgive us when we ask Him to do so-the consequences of the sin we confess are not wiped away. The United States has done many good things over the years which has brought many blessings, provision and protection upon the people of the United States and countries around the world for many generations and many generations yet to come. The good news in that God is showing us the way BACK to His favor through our troubles, trials and difficulties. Let’s keep in mind the simple fact that the consequences won’t go away and things aren’t going back to the way they used to be. On February 11th 2024, a shooting occurred when Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, when 36 year old biological male went by the name of Geneses Moreno entered the church accompanied by his seven-year old son at 1:53pm CST, seven minutes before a Spanish languages Sunday afternoon service, and began shooting shortly after. MAKING SENSE OF THE SENSE-LESS: Drawing the line between sin and mental illness can be confusing, but it shouldn't be that difficult. Was the Houston church shooting sin or mental illness? The Merriam-Webster defines a cheat sheet as “a written or graphic aid (such as a sheet or notes) that can be referred to for help in understanding and remembering something complex”. In basic form, the Parables of Jesus were given to us as a written graphic aid to help us better understand, more simply through story the more complex lessons from God. The parable of the “SOWER” in Mark 4, I want to point out some subtle but important things about this parable and the importance of the words of Jesus for our lives and the lives He calls us to EVANGELISM-to impact the lost world with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ as written about in the Jewish Scriptures and the New Testament.
