Sermon topic: Atonement, Reconciliation, and Recovery, by Rev Eric Meter.  Starr King is a vibrant Unitarian Universalist congregation committed to spiritual exploration, loving inclusion, and justice. We’ve been active in Hayward, California since 1954. We called our first openly gay minister in 1980, so we’ve been LGBTQ+ friendly for a long time. We gather on Sundays for worship and connection at 10:30 am PT. You are warmly invited to join us in person https://starrking.org/welcome/visiting-us/ or online https://starrking.org/zoom-inclusion/. Our family programming, youth group, and congregational activities create a spiritual community which honors questions, values compassion, and welcomes all caring people from diverse beliefs and backgrounds. We think you’ll love it here as much as we do. Any questions? Share them with our welcome team welcome@starrking.org and we'll get back to you ASAP! You can learn more about our family programs at https://starrking.org/youth-and-families/.  We invite you to visit

  • Who We Are: Our Liberal Faith Tradition

    20/10/2019 Duración: 26min

Unitarian Universalism is a liberal religious tradition that was formed from the consolidation of two religions: Unitarianism and Universalism. Both religions have long histories and have contributed important theological concepts that remain central to Unitarian Universalism. Since the merger of the two denominations in 1961, Unitarian Universalism has nurtured its Unitarian and Universalist heritages to provide a strong voice for social justice and liberal religion.
