Meditative Words: Healing The Brokenhearted

Just some thoughts before bed.

I want to put a face on child Molestation. I want to help people who have been molested to know they are not alone

The holy Bible gives clear direction that does not need to be added to or taking away from. We are called to witness for Christ and if we add to that our opinions of this world we are not winning souls we are pushing people away and that's not Christ like.

The prophet Isaiah is speaking to the people of Israel who have now been exiled from the city of Jerusalem, as God had warned them over many hundreds of years would happen to them if they did not keep His laws. He told them that all they had to do was follow Him. They were to stay humble, not worship false gods, and not intermarry with any of the other nations that surrounded them in the land God had given them. All of these things, they did. They were also told to completely drive out the nations from the lands they were given... they did not do this. Isaiah tells what is going on around him. The land is desolate now. The people are desolate. They are in famine. And they are crying out to God. But God has not forgotten his people. Israel is and always has been God's chosen people

Chapters 23-31

I thank God for people who suffer for the Word of God. I praise God for them and I ask you to pray with me for their safety. There are men and women in the world today who are still out there working diligently for the cause of Christ in places where they fear daily for their lives. But the Word of God must be preached to the WHOLE World. It is the Great Commission. Where Jesus is, there is Liberty.
