When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on what we celebrate as Palm Sunday He did so to the roar of the crowd fueled by their expectations that He would change the external circumstances of their lives. However, the first place Jesus went was the temple to restore its purpose. That's just how God works in the lives of His people.
