The Penguins beat the best team in hockey last night, 7-2 in Colorado. Evgeni Malkin had 2 goals and an assist in his return following the 5-game suspension. Malkin continues to perform on a high level and without Sidney Crosby in the lineup, he is key cog in keeping this thing afloat. Poni had a few points about Geno to start today’s show – he’s a Top 3 Penguin of all-time, he’s on the PGH Sports Mt. Rushmore since 2000, and he deserves an extension after this season.
