Today, he is interviewing Sara D'Ambra of Casa D'Ambra Vini D'Ischia.  More about today’s guest: Sara D'Ambra is the 4th generation of Casa D'Ambra with her sister Marina. Casa D'Ambra was born in 1888 with Francesco D'Ambra, who bought the local wine to ship it to Naples North Italy and France. In 1956 thanks to Salvatore D'Ambra Casa D'Ambra started the wine production with Biancolella, Forastera, Per''e palummo, the 3 main indigenous varietis. So, the second generation consisted of 3 people: Mario the seller, Michele the one involved in the vineyard to buy grapes and Salvatore the winemaker. Another important step was March 1966 when they created the DOC Ischia Bianco and Ischia Rosso. These 2 DOC were between the first in Italy.
