Welcome to Episode 2028 in which host Giulia Stocchetti interviews Alessandro Serughetti. Alessandro Serughetti is an oenologist from Sicily, who travelled around the world to different wine regions before founding his own winery on the slopes of Etna. He has been to Portugal, South Africa and New Zealand, where he did an interesting and enlighting research on the effects of aminoacids in Sauvignon Blanc's vinification. Today, he's taking care of his vineyard making terroir driven wines led by the love for his homeland. More about today’s guest Alessandro Serughetti was born in Palermo in 1992. He studied at the university in Marsala where graduated in viticulture and oenology. After this, he decided to move to Asti, where obtained a master’s degree and second year completed in Portugal. It was one of the most important experiences of his career. After he studied, he worked in Italy for important wineries. Then he went to work in New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa.
