More about today’s winery: Pietradolce was founded in 2005 in Solicchiata, a small village a few kilometers from Castiglione di Sicilia, on the Northern slope of Mount Etna. The family Faro has been always committed in preserving and showing the beauty of the teritory, so the love for it, as well as the respect for the ecosystem and the traditions represent the core of Pietradolce's philosophy. The estate owns 30 hectares of small plots located within Rampante, Zottorinoto, Santo Spirito e Feudo di Mezzo contradas, in a range between 700 and 950 mt. above sea level.
