More about today’s guest Amy Gross is the Founder and CEO of VineSleuth/ Wine4.Me, the US National President of Women For WineSense and the Vice-Chaiman of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Winery Relations Committee. Gross formed VineSleuth/ Wine4.Me to give consumers an easy way to shop for wines using flavor as their guide. In 2011, she began working with sensory scientists, winemakers and wine educators to build a uniform method for flavor mapping wines using sensory panels. Then she pulled together a team to build a technology platform to put that data to use. The resulting white-labeled software is used on winery and retailer websites and in mobile applications for events across the US and Europe.
