More about today’s winery: “Montenidoli: 200 hectares/500 acres of woods on the hill overlook San Gimignano, in front of Chianti Classico, between Florence and Siena. It is unpolluted land, high upon the hill, with clean air, far away from any chemical poisons invented by humans. When we arrived in 1965, the land was abandoned: the woods had invaded the fields, the olive trees were running wild, and the vines were covered by bushes.
