More about today’s guest: Vania Valentini was born in Correggio, in Emilia Romagna. She later moved to London and that is where she discovered a passion for wine. Once back in Italy in 2008, she became an AIS Sommelier and, subsequently graduated from the Wine communication and marketing Master’s in ALMA, the International Academy of Italian Cuisine of Gualtiero Marchesi. Finally, in 2012 she obtained the title of AIS Official Taster in Milan. She became an ALMA teacher, took part in tastings in wine guides and competitions, started to collaborate in the drafting of the Grandi Champagne Guide as Vice-Curator and, since 2017, has held lessons dedicated to Champagne a the International University of Gastronomic Sciences UNISG, at the Higher Education at the INTRECCI hall and at the MACH Foundation, Trento.
