More about today’s winery: Grandfather Ferruccio was a miller, but his real passion was farming, especially winegrowing. In 1957 he bought the house and the vineyard in the Rocca Bernarda hills, initially focusing on the production of the Friuli white then called Tocai, a wine that goes perfectly with whatever you're eating. We know all this from the stories told by Ferruccio's son Arturo, who took part in that move along with the rest of the family, uprooting from the little town of Vencò, where the mill was located, and settling in what is now the Corno di Rosaz
