Today, he will be interviewing Andrea Cecchi More about today’s winery Andrea Cecchi was born in 1959 in Poggibonsi, in the province of Siena. He earned a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science at the Institute of Agricultural Technology in Florence and a Master's degree in Oenology, graduating with highest honors. Today, he represents the fourth generation at the helm of the company founded in 1893 by his great-grandfather Luigi Cecchi, in which he has been actively involved since 1989. Over the past decades, Andrea has held key roles as Chief Oenologist, from 1993 to 2004, when, with the death of his father, he began a managerial journey that led him to his current role as President and CEO of the company. Throughout his career, Andrea has emphasized native Tuscan and Umbrian grapes, aiming to create authentic wines that reflect the uniqueness of their terroirs.
