I felt very compelled to speak on this topic. Maybe it's because I see a lifestyle + mindset of gratitude as the only way to live. I chat about a recent moment where I was feeling so grateful for the life I live- for how far I've come personally like gaining independence, how I've been able to financially support myself, etc. I talk about how I'm living my dream life yet feel guilty for it at times. So I got pulled over for the first time this week! I doubted I would share what happened but then came to realize it taught me such a good lesson of slowing down!! This is a pretty specific episode about my diet and how I've gotten to this point on my journey of healing my relationship with food. I give a little back story on when my struggles with food and body image started but I have a whole episode dedicated to that in episode 2 of my podcast, so I would recommend going back and giving that a listen for more background. I discuss being vegan for about a year and reasons I liked and disliked it, but ultimately how I decided to continue on with no labels on my diet for a number of reasons.
