This month Pearl Wise, Jonny Virgo and new recruit Jess Lawson are joined by Douglas Karson to talk about an ambitious 10 day bonanza of cabaret, comedy, film, art and music at One2Festival in London Fields, members of the children’s literacy charity Hackney Pirates talk about their adventures in radio making, Pearl finds out why an Estate Agency in Stoke Newington is promoting property in Stoke on Trent and discovers a new analogue multi-venue; The Institute of Light. Singer-songwriter STAC plays live in the studio to celebrate her brand new Perpetual EP release.

This month Pearl Wise and Jonny Virgo are joined by Fatos Ustek curator of Art Night, an exciting new contemporary free art event in July and filmmaker Gavin Boyter explaining why he decided to run from John O’Groats to Land’s End and then write the book Downhill From Here. Jonny reports on 'The Queen of Carnival’ Claudia Jones activist, journalist instigator of the Notting Hill Carnival in 1959, Jess Lawson investigates the pitfalls of 'Right to Rent' and Hip Hop/spoken word artist Shay D brings a taste of her unique sound live in the studio.

Jonny Virgo looks back at the horrors of the New Cross Fire in the 80’s and Pearl Wise goes to Legs to meet outspoken chef Magnus Reid.

This month Nia Charpentier and Pearl Wise welcome members of the cast of Knife Edge- the latest Big House Theatre Production. Their musical director Louise Wellby also tells about her own music based projects.
