Dan and Ben discuss the different terrain throughout the the state and go in to detail about the property that he has access to hunt in the Northeastern part of the state. Ben talks about how his 30 acre family farm is the perfect travel corridor between to larger pieces of neighboring farms. Then, Ben tells the three year story of the buck he harvested last year. He was introduced to the buck as a two year old and had trail camera pictures of him every year. This buck had a split G2 that was very noticeable so the 160 class buck was easy to identify when he finally came through during the 2018 season. Finally Ben talks to us about a huge mature 8 pointer that he plans on holding out for for this upcoming archery season. Josh decided he was going to take a week off of work to dedicate to getting the job done. The on the first day of the vacation he got the flu. Sickness sidelined him for several days before he was able to get back in to the timber and give it another go.     On this epic story, Erik Scott of Pennsylvania share the story about his first two years hunting the mountainous, large sections of public land. While scouting in 2017 he located an area of the forest that has great deer habitat but was 4 very rough miles from the cabin he was staying at. Due to limited time he had to make every hunt count. So when the archery season expired, he returned to the sport during the rifle season and located an awesome buck for that area. The rest is history.
