Are we in for another Rip Your Face off Rally?
17/08/2019 Duración: 23minThe market was saved again. How many more times will the S&P500 stare straight down the black hole of technical analysis and be fought off by a pack of bulls? For now, they did it again and we should understand that while the trend is pointed down, we will still see large swings in all markets - in both directions. We look at all the markets that can be both leading and lagging indicators. We look from a pure technical perspective using just the candlestick charts, some moving averages and a bunch of common sense based on what the market is trying to tell all the traders and investors out in market land.We provide common sense technical analysis on many different markets using charts from various time frames to give traders and investors the most comprehensive look at what today's market is doing.Whether you're a beginner or advanced trader, each and every day there are lessons to be taken away from the in depth market analysis where we look at the market from a unique lens. 30/07/2019 Duración: 22minAfter a gap down right out of the gate, markets recovered very quickly back to the top end of the range cited for InsideTheNumbers members before the opening bell.Wednesday will be important since we hear from the FOMC on their interest rate announcement and subsequent statement. It's all really just a bunch of nonsense, but if everyone's paying attention, then everyone's paying attention. How high can markets get before / after the Fed
29/07/2019 Duración: 24minThe stock market is in an all too familiar place - We're waiting on the Fed once again. Market participants are waiting to see if the Fed will cut interest rates 25 or 50 basis points, or in English, a quarter or half a point. It remains strange that we're all so focused on an interest rate cut while stock prices are at all time highs. There must be an explination for it, and we'll wait until Wednesday to learn more from Chairman Powell.Meantime, looking at the charts and technical analysis, we don't find much change in the structure from late last week. The Rusell 2000 was down slightly which is my favorite market leading indicator, but asside from those stocks, nothing else stood out like a sore thumb. Why did markets reverse before the opening bell
25/07/2019 Duración: 19minVery early today the market reversed on a dime after the ECB made their non announcement of their interest rate announcement. On it's face, it was a sell the news event. Next week we have the Federal Reserve (FOMC) announcement which will be met with a lot of fan fair. From a chart and technical perspective, the market remains in an uptrend.Should traders and investors be worried about the new highs made yesterday and a close back below? Not yet, the market is still in an uptrend. In tonight's episode, we'll cover all the relevant markets, their charts from both a short and long term perspective. We'll look at the Transports, IWM, SMH, Financials and more... See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

How much more will markets melt up?
24/07/2019 Duración: 21minThe melt up continues as markets head higher right into the ECB announcement Thursday morning. Will this be a sell the news event, or will markets accelerate in the northern direction. From a chart and technical analysis perspective, there is nothing bearish on the chart of the SPY or otherwise.Price remains above all the moving averages in it's uptrend. What are market trying to tell traders
22/07/2019 Duración: 25minAfter an ugly candle on Friday, markets settled back down today and floated higher. Traders who are in tune with the important numbers will also understand that from a technical perspective, and a daily chart, nothing is wrong with the bull case for the market. However, there's always a story within the story. Ther are some charts that point in the southern direction for price. Several of the shorter term charts, as well as one of our favorite market leading indicators is teetering. In this episode of common sense market analysis, we'll look at all charts from a technical persepctive and we'll also discuss the markets from a common sense perspective and together come out with the best case scenarios for where markets are headed next. 20/07/2019 Duración: 20minDid markets give the sign of trouble? It was the feared gap and crap finishing on the lows of the day. That's never a good sign for markets, but we always have to be aware of the trick trap fool and frustrate crew. There were divergences on various charts in some of the markets we cover, namely the Trasports and the Semiconductors. Markets rip higher
18/07/2019 Duración: 29minThey filled the gap and took off. Will it last or was it a fake rally from the trick, trap, fool and frustrate crew?Today's market had better volume than the previous down days which is a positive and bullish sign. Microsoft ($MSFT) reported earnings after the closing bell, and the market liked what it saw, sent the stock higher which can't hurt the rest of the market. The daily chart remains bullish and as hard as it is to believe for many traders, the market continues in its uptrend with minor interruption. The entire structure of the common sense market analysis videos are to gain an understanding of Technical Analysis that can be applied on all candlestick charts using a variety of different time frames.
