Most every person can remember an occasion as a child when no amount of persuasion from our mom or dad could convince us to change our opinion. Our peers had told us what was true but nothing was going to change our belief; only to discover later on what we had believed was misinformation or worse, we had believed a lie. Accurate reporting and a free press are critical to the well-being and the sustaining of liberty for an individual and for a nation. There is no greater bondage than someone living in deception; thinking themselves to be free when they are in fact slaves. Darkness has become their light. What they believe to be true is, in reality, misinformation or disinformation. What they assume to be accurate is distortion. Distortion is changing the shape, the characteristic, or the design of an object or a fact. Misinformation is the unintentional reporting of inaccurate facts. Disinformation is the purposeful dissemination of inaccurate information with the intent to distort the truth. The consiste

There are 3 significant things that every child of God needs to know. These three truths radically change how they identify as a child of God and relate to their new life in Christ. The zenith of all creation was made when God created Adam and Eve in His own image. He delegated to them the capacity and the authority to fill the earth with a new species of being; sons and daughters of God made in His image and possessing the authority and power to be stewards over all of His creation. Then, the unthinkable happened. Adam and Eve committed high treason with the Serpent, forfeiting the authority delegated to them; giving it into the hands of the ruler of the darkness of this world. The magnitude of the loss experienced in that act of sin is revealed in a statement Lucifer made to Jesus Christ. “Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. The presence of God was prevailing. It was even manifested in the parking lot. Our hospitality teams were serious about sharing God’s love and grace with all who came. A couple of the men took their role extremely serious. They would remain at the back of the worship center, near the main entrance. Praying for all who attended, they would be alert to individuals God especially put on their heart. Those individuals would receive special prayer. If that person left the worship celebration early, as occasionally happened, they would follow them to their car and engage them in conversation; hoping for opportunity to share the Gospel. Several people were led to Christ standing in the parking lot next to their car; more than one time the person received a healing. This amazing presence of God filled every worship celebration and Bible study for over twenty months. Dozens of people came to salvation and many with cancer were healed. The Middle Ages (500-1400 AD) was the convergence of three powerful forces. The barbarians of the north were forming powerful armies to overthrow the Roman Empire. Islam was born in Mecca and Medina, conquering the Middle East as far as India and spreading across northern Africa and into Spain. Christianity was in the middle region. It was a dangerous time because the light of the Gospel had become very dim. Extremes were weakening the spirit of the church. Desire for political power and moral corruption filled church leadership; out of balance teaching for holy living led to monasticism. Literacy and the Holy Word was taken out of the hands of the general populace leaving them illiterate and void the truth and spiritual life. Into this twilight God sent the Waldensians of Lyon, Italy. John Wycliffe of Oxford University continued the work. John Huss in Prague spread the light further. The late 1960’s were culture changing in America and Great Britain. February 7,1964, Pan Am flight 101 landed at JFK International Airport in New York City and was welcomed by four thousand screaming fans. The modern day British invasion of America had landed, as the Beatles disembarked, a new era of music was launched. 1964 also saw the rise of the LSD culture. Professor Timothy Leary was the father of LSD, after he was fired from Harvard University. Ken Kesey and his Merry Pranksters began traveling across the USA in the psychedelic bus “Further” bringing their “electric Kool-Aid to the youth of America.” The Hippie culture was “turning on, tuning in, and dropping out.” American youth were protesting the Vietnam War by “making love, not war.” The Beatles released the psychedelic album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band in 1967. That summer between 75,000 and 100,000 Hippies gathered at the “Summer of Love” in the Haight-Ashbury area of San Francisco. I don't get what's coming out of Hollywood today. I can't imagine thinking of that level of evil and then being able to portray it. What are they thinking? Why do we feel like we have to fill children's cartoons with language and debauchery? It is only because we're reaching the condition that Jesus talked about. They were literally satiating themselves with every appetite they could imagine. Homosexual and lesbian relations had become the norm. But it went a step further, which brought God's judgement. Mankind began seeking relationship with the demonic. And as he did, and as the demonic bean pursuing relationship with mankind, God said enough. The good news is that in the midst of this culture that had grown so corrupt, God had a man. A man whose heart was after righteousness, whose heart knew him, loved him, and

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." There seems to be a plethora of sources declaring this is a fortuitous moment in history. History is filled with stories of fortuitous moments being squandered as well as being seized. While I fully agree this is an historical moment for the United States of America and for the world; I do not believe it is a foregone conclusion. It is not an historical moment just because we have seen a change in the Oval Office and a change in the governing party in White House, Senate and Congress. Those changes may help facilitate the fortuitous opportunity but they are not the guarantee this moment will be ceased. Four blood moons took place in 2014-2015. Each of them happened on a major Jewish holiday. Two of them happened on Passover and two of them on the Feast of Tabernacles. There was a conjunction of Jupiter and Venus, the shining of the Bethlehem Star, on June 30th and July 1, 2015. While there have been many conjunctions of Jupiter and Venus, this was possibly the first time they have been that close, shining as one star, since the birth of Christ. That is why it has been called the reappearing of the Bethlehem Star. A total solar eclipse was visible from coast to coast in the USA for the first time in 100 years took place August 21st this year. The last time was 1918. This hurricane season has been record setting. Through September 12th there have been 11 names storms, 6 hurricanes, three have been major hurricanes of level three or above. They point to stories in the Old Testament like the flood, when God destroyed everything on planet earth except Noah and his family and 2 of every kind of animal. Or they refer to times in the Bible when God commanded the Israelites to capture a city and destroy everyone in it. But there is one story that they miss entirely. Rahab was the city prostitute who helped Israelite spies to spy out Jericho so that they could escape unharmed. In her encounter with them, she chooses to believe in the Living God. God rewarded her faith by sparing her and her family when the Israelites conquered the city of Jericho. Does it seem odd to you that its the city prostitute that's spared? It gets stranger later on in Scripture, because she marries a Jewish man from the tribe of Judah and becomes the great-great grandma of King David and is in the bloodline of Jesus Christ. All throughout the Bible, even starting in Genesis when God commanded Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth, and subdue it, we see that God intended for us to live a blessed life! Almighty God has given to us a covenant - that redeems us from sin and restore us to the creative position that God originally meant for mankind when God created us. This covenant established that would be stewards of all of creation and ambassadors for kingdom of heaven. I have been confronted many times for my position on the subject and even accused of being a heretic because I love to celebrate Christmas. I have been asked, “How can you say that you believe in the inerrancy of Scripture and celebrate Christmas? Don’t you understand that it comes directly out of paganism?” Next they remind me, “God said, ‘You shall utterly destroy all the places where the nations which you shall dispossess served their gods, on the high mountains and on the hills and under every green tree’” (Deuteronomy 12:2 NKJV). It would probably surprise my children and grandchildren to learn I actually taught these things early in my ministry. Luke sets the stage for us. “And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered.  This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city. Every detail of the conception and birth of Jesus Christ was prepared with precision; from the order of the constellation to the political and military structure and perfectly matching the dates of Daniel 9:24-26, written centuries before. How is it possible God forgot to ensure there was a hotel room for them in the town? There have been Christmas plays portraying in the inn keeper as evil because he would not give the expecting mother a room. Was this a major oversight by Joseph or a divine mystery? Forced by need, Joseph found a quiet stable on the edge of town and in the fields of Migdal Eder for his wife to give birth to their son. There were shepherds in those fields keeping night watch over their sheep. Some have said this is a certain indicator the timing would definitely not have been December.
