This week was a great choice! it was recommended to us by CJ in our discord and it was certainly well worth the watch. It is a continuation of the series and unless you have seen the series I would honestly not recommend watching it till you have had the chance to watch it otherwise it will not make sense and there will be a lot lost in context. And because of that, it makes the movie better that it plays off of the series and is a direct continuation. There isn't any time lost really from the series to the movie and for any time that did pass you are able to easily figure out what is happening because it plays so close to the series. It was a solid story with great visuals and music. It was a great movie that both Jack and Rick liked. And it was one that Jack and his wife both loved and became a fast favorite for them. The story is in so many words about following your passions and your dreams and not letting obstacles, whatever they may be, for you not reach your dreams but instead, be inspired and reach for them no matter what. And be with someone that will also give you that push when you feel like you can't move forward. To wrap up the Trinity Seven journey comes to a movie that had a little better story and more context when it comes to some things and less context when it comes to other things. It was also rated PG-13 but given the... circumstances that are given arise for Arta we feel that the rating should be higher. Though the movie wasn't great we sure had some fun talking about it. This one was a continuation of the series but the difference was that the questions that we had were not really answered and the story was not really there at all. This if anything focused on the "Plot" of the series and it also felt like there was a lot that we missed in-between the series ending and when the movie picks up. You are also left with a lot of questions and disbelief with you rolling your eyes more and more at the movie. But it is entertaining for what it is at least a little. This week was certainly one for those Diaries that you all keep because they apparently also do not matter since they will change. This one takes an interesting look at what a "god" chooses to do for entertainment and also chooses who will replace them since their life is about to end. The contest that serves to entertain them is a fight to the death with diaries telling them a future that is unique to them and what they originally kept. As the story progresses there is one character that we feel did not develop or progress and that is one of the main characters Yuki. They served as a catalyst for the show and its story as well but still aggravated us to no end anyway. Regardless thought it was still a good watch and we think you may like it. This week was recommended to us by CJ in our discord. It was an interesting choice that is for sure. It is pretty close to a merger of 2 Shakespeare stories Hamlet and The Tempest. With the anime following and quoting both stories through its own it is certainly worth the watch and one that we both feel will give you a roller coaster ride for it. A couple of the drawbacks were the time-traveling aspect and the Mage of Exodus kinda threw us both off. But it was certainly enjoyable, to say the least. Next week's choice is Future Diaries. This week was a nice and easy show to watch and it was not one that was heavy either. There were no deep plots or heavy parts where hit them feels hard but there were some solid story points and one that certainly made it worth the watch for us. With the main character and reasoning being rounded and with the questions being answered almost as soon as they ask them it makes it an easy story for you to follow. And while it did end on a positive note and one that soft closed it there is a season 2 coming (as of the time of this coming out) and we are excited about it. As you would think that this may have some solid foundation with a great story in a matter of seconds you realize that there is no real story just a whole lot of plot. This to us felt like it was a young boy's wet dreams where there was not a solid story being told. There was a plot to be found but it was overshadowed by the over-sexualization of what was going on when it didn't need to be there or it would be done at a point where you would be pulled from the story. This week's choice was an interesting one by Rick and they both were a little more split than usually but not by much. The story and world-building were solid, to say the least, but the pacing was not on point for Jack and he felt like each episode was about 3 times longer than what it was. The week was a great recommendation from CJ in our discord and we had a lot of fun watching. They as well as a couple of others also joined and watched us live stream while we recorded the episode on YouTube so we were able to get some live feedback at the time of recording as well. But the core of the show that we watched had some great life lessons and with a journey thru self-discovery for each of the side characters that are connected to the main character but they are not the only ones that are learning a lesson but the protag is also learning lessons as well. This we as a great choice by Jack. It was a simple yet compelling story about an adventurer who finds meaning in what he is doing when he takes in a little devil girl who was in the forest. It is a sweet journey and looks at their lives together and the trials that they have to deal with while growing together. This show is an easy watch and one that you can sit through a couple of times really quickly. So if you are looking for a cute show that is not heavy then this is the show for you. This week was an interesting choice, to say the least. It was an entertaining show that throws the Main Character right into the thick of but also at the same time secretly makes him Over Powered right off the bat. And while some of the world-building is solid in certain aspects there are others that leave you empty with the lack of answers that you are given. There is plenty of potential for the show to expand upon and they certainly left enough questions unanswered that it will make you want to watch a second season should it ever come. Even with its flaws, it is a goofy show that is generally entertaining and it is one that you should watch if you are a fan of comedy harems. This week we teleport to a Little Garden with our special gifts of plot strength and control! The story for us was solid and entertaining it was a fun show and we enjoyed it. It also reminds us heavily of No Game No Life with some key elements. But even with it like that, there are certain differences that are good that help differentiate it from NGNL. This week we go a little longer than normal mainly because we just can't help but go off on some tangents about certain parts of it. The story was good, even though it had some cringe points. The world-building was great and made for a more enjoyable experience. But we can't help but wonder what that last card was that he picked when first going to that world. This choice was a little lacking this week for us. It was a good watch however there was so much that they could have done we both felt like it was cut short. There were enough material and side stories that could have made the show a lot longer to help the show define the ideas. But overall it was entertaining, and it set out to do just that. Ecchi and Harem are listed as a couple of Genres for it and it also certainly is both of those things but we both felt that they really detracted from the story that could have been there.  A fine choice for a movie to help bring us into the new year than with a movie that also gives you a good moral story along with it. And while the story overall was predictable it was really relatable, especially for Jack at a few different points in the movie just made it really relatable. Even if you are not a cat person the story is still good enough to watch at least once. It is something that we both would recommend but not really something that we would watch again. Christmas just passed and why not watch something meant more for Halloween? Well, that's what we did and it was certainly a worthwhile watch! And luckily we did not have to wait 6 years to watch it all and get the conclusion we wanted. The story from Hellsing is vastly different with the first episode basically summarizing a good portion of the first series. But after that, it became a show with structure. The final of the trilogy that we have been watching! And it was a fun one although it was not a great one and there was a lot wrong with it but there was a lot of fun in it as well! The music was everywhere in it and when Amuro falls in love he does it quickly and it is also a death sentence for whom he falls for.
