We think there will be especially with how hard they pushed for season 2 at the end. This was without a doubt funny as heck for both of us. It is thoroughly enjoyable and was well worth the wait and it picks up right where the series left off. While it may feel like an extended episode we felt the length was good and it hit all the right points. With that being said the only shortcoming for this would be that there are some points where because of what was going on we had to rewatch some parts to get what was happening due to everyone talking over each other in some spots which is the only thing keeping us from giving it a perfect. Campione! was not quite what Rick had remembered it being but the series as a whole was good overall. One of the main draws of this show is that they talk about Mythology and really highlight that knowledge is power, especially for our pro-tag Godou. If there is one gripe we have with the series it is the jumping around and or referencing things that we have not seen or had no knowledge of. But despite that, the series was really good. This week's choice was both good and bad. While season 1 was good for both of us season 2 was... well it left much to be desired. Season 1 had a good story that could be followed and kinda reminded us of other shows. At least for Jack that is. Season 2 should have been cut down to the last 2 episodes and turned into an OVA. The anime story was short and quick-paced which is exactly what it needed to be. We both felt it was good but could have been better. One drawback of it was the heavy obvious innuendos. With a second season coming out next it was definitely a nice refresher on the series in preparation for it. That being said while it was a good show the comedy was plentiful it was just lacking in comparison to the other great isekais out there. This was another great choice this week. And we both actually agree that it is a great series with a special and a movie. It gives you different views of the same emotion because love is not the same for every and everyone has their own story. This was a great choice this week. It was light-hearted, fun, and gave a slightly different viewpoint on VR games. Overall the anime was very good but at the same time, we wish it was longer and gave more information about the world and the mechanics of it the plot. It was good at 12 eps but would have been as 25 since it felt a little rushed with it being so short. Hopefully, there is a season 2. Next week's choice is a series called Violet Evergarden. It was a good story That was a little like an isekai but at least not in your traditional sense. The character instead of being teleported to a new world and being overpowered, he is reborn into a new world after dying and he retains his memories, at least from what we are led to believe, and takes leaps in technology. It starts simple enough a goddess summons a hero from another world to save a different world and while in this new world they go through adventu.... Wait, never mind this hero is so cautious that he actually spends most of the time in the goddess home training before even going to the first town. This show is full of comedy and laughs that will leave your sides splitting. However, the last 2-3 episodes feel rushed and slapped together like they needed to end it. As the title suggests this show is weird. And while it does have its funny moments and a plot that you can follow this show was just weird. It almost felt a bit like Gurren Lagann in terms of the story but it also certainly played on the superhero genre more so from the Power Rangers style of hero. All while wrapping it up with what could be described as a lackluster ending that changed from a superhero-style show to more of a mystery show. Don't get us wrong they do tell you little about the characters but honestly, there was not much there to make you feel one way or another about most of the. The story follows Justice and Izzy as they fight to save the world with their ancient tattoos. These Tattoos are made to bind with your soul granting you a unique ability and boosting your overall stats. While the story was there the main character for us was annoying and there are several things that they could have done better. But they did at least touch on some unique ideas for powers. There is also one that that Rick and Jack disagree on and that is that Jack thinks they pushed hard for a season 2 and Rick thinks that they did not. What do you think? Help us decide!
