Lani was inducted into the fly fishing hall of fame in 1997, Founding director of the Babine River Foundation and the north coast steelhead alliance. He tells us a harrowing story of a plane crash into the Babine River which took the life of two friends and a pilot. He describes his near death experience and will to survive as only Lani can. This is a candid conversation about a passion for fly fishing, for living your best life and a lifetime pursuing giant steelhead with a fly.
