Grateful to chat with Ian Forbes of Duncan BC. Ian is as unique a character in the fly fishing/ outdoors as you will find. A legend on BC waters and his writing has influenced many a rod. He actually shared the river with Roderick Haig Brown, wrote for BC Outdoors for many years and the Vancouver Province, his first article was published in 1958. Retired from the Ministry of Forests. Ian shares his fly fishing journey with us, we talk motorcycles, water colors, Johnny Cash, Steelhead, trout, Kingfishers, FlyBC and much more.

Grateful to sit down and chat this week with Matt Stabler. Retired Marine biologist, Fishing Guide and Commercial Fisherman, this guy knows a lot about fish, their habitat and how to catch them. He has learned from some amazing fly fishers and biologists over his career and has a lot of knowledge to share. We ran into Max Cohen at the BC Outdoors Show and knew we had to get him on as a guest. Max is a rare breed, avid fly fisher, guide, fly tyer and seeker of fins. He guides for everything from Sturgeon to Rainbow Trout. He tells us about his fly fishing journey and how addiction no longer defines his story.
