The 2022 season is over and Jack and Jeremy bring you the results of their over/under picks for the year. The guys also recap the World Series and rag on Dusty Baker some more and Jeremy tell a story about getting rear ended by a southsider!

With the 2022 World Series upon us, Jack and Jeremy take a look at the rosters for the Phillies and Astros and discuss the players, coaches, and front office members who have a connection to the Cubs and Brewers, in order to find some kind of rooting interest in this year's match up.

Jack and Jeremy run down an eventful year autograph hunting at Wrigley Field in their first annual Bus Awards! If you missed any of the recaps from the guys' various bus hangs, this is a great place to catch the highlights and unforgettable moments from this past season. We revisit some incomprehensible freaks, some cringeworthy moments, and some autograph victories along the way. The guys also talk about the LDS series and the beyond lame Padres rap. And Jeremy recaps a wild scene at locker clean out day at Wrigley Field the day after the season ended. There was a fight between two bozos and Jeremy was miraculously able to remedy an autograph tragedy that was plaguing him in recent weeks. It's a long one but a good one!

...And we're back for part 2, our last in-person game of the 2022 season to see the Cubs take on the Reds in Wrigleyville. Jeremy meets and alienates a member of the 2016 World Series Champs, Jack is cornered by a weird guy who wants to see him dance, and the guys find themselves sitting behind lookalike of Making A Murderer's Steven Avery. The last bus hang accomplishes a mission of a Reds coach autograph, the return of a special autograph-seeking animal, and Jack and Jeremy become surrogate fathers to a neglected youngster. It's a roller coaster of weirdness, but what episode isn't these days, what with all the bus weirdos and auto freaks (present company INcluded). Enjoy this last live game recap of the year!

In part one of a two part episode to close out the regular season, Jack and Jeremy bring you a recap of the Cubs/Phillies game. The guys talk further about the legend of Cocky Hayden Wesneski, idiots standing and looking at their phone, and a near fight between Jeremy and a drunk Cubs fan for sarcastically yelling a pro-Milwaukee jeer at the Phillies. At the bus, the guys have a scoop about an angry Bryce Harper, some ladies c-block Jack and Jeremy when Nick Castellanos comes out, and Rhys Hoskins brings someone to tears. But stay tuned til the end when we meet Jonathan Villar Bike Guy! That's all we can say for now! And then keep an eye on this feed because part two with a recap of the final live game of the season, Cubs/Reds, will be coming in just a few days!

Dong...dong...dong...(cue Undertaker's theme music)...for whom the bell tolls...well, in this case, it's the Chicago White Sox. Jack and Jeremy head to G-Rate Field to see perhaps the last gasp of the 2022 Southside squad as they take on the first place Cleveland Guardians. The guys are accompanied by Marc Bubblebath tonight and witness, among other things, a disrespectful dude who drops the game ball, a jersey of White Sox great Lou Gehrig (?), and an incessantly loud, clamoring buffone we dubbed "Captain Angeroo". Tune in to our final White Sox game of 2022 and the last competitive game for the White Sox in 2022 (it wasn't all that competitive...)

The guys attend back-to-back Cubs/Rockies games complete with full bus hangs and graphing mayhem! The guys encounter a few Wrigley Field knuckleheads, but the talk of the town is autos, autos, autos! The guys experience one of the more successful bus hang/auto hunts to date, including a beloved former Cub-turned-Rockie, can you guess who?!? The guys are snubbed hardcore by a dazed Dave Magadan, Jeremy gets some laughs at Bud Black's expense, and Jack has to eat crow when it comes to Brendan Rodgers. And in what possibly may be an all-time graphing moment, Nico Hoerner is accosted by a crazy German lady and her dog Millie - you have to hear in to believe it. This is a marathon episode but it's worth it! Get your Sharpies ready and tune into this ep of Rain Delay Theater!

Another team off the list as Jack and Jeremy travel to Wrigley Field for a Friday afternoon Cubs/Giants game. The guys sit in the LF corner on their own island...until a middle-aged guy who's predicting homers and shooting his shot with the ladies appears. After the floodgates open, the guys are subjected to a group of 4 dad-vibe dorks and two people who hate fast fashion and don't know about the Yankees or the rooftops. Outside, it's a wild scene as the guys try the Giants bus, the Cubs lot, and a secret spot. The guys get a Hall of Famer's signature, Jeremy gets a white whale, and then an auto mishap ends the evening. It's a busy episode, tune it!

The guys are back on the Southside to see the lowly (and La Russa-less) White Sox take on the even lowlier KC Royals. We meet a food-sharing group of Gio Gonzalezes, the guys encounter two unhappy men on the CTA platform, and we hear about the new food just introduced by the White Sox...in August. Plus, another big moment for the podcast - Jeremy takes a nasty spill but gets his first foul ball!!! Hear all about that ridiculous story on this week's ep!

It’s a big Cubs/Cardinals matchup this week for the podcast, featuring Albert Pujols’ last series in Wrigley Field. Pujols hits HR no. 693 and Jordan Montgomery throws a Maddux, but those aren’t the only highlights. The guys sit behind a group of four unlucky luchadores, suffer through an obnoxious content creator’s first pitch, and get saddled next to a coughing Aussie. The bus also brings a raucous crowd and one chain smoking, loudmouthed Cardinals asshole. Will this guy harassing players and their families completely c-block the guys from any autographs? Tune in to find out!

The Juan Soto-less Washington Nationals come to town and the podcast is there to cover them for the first time! Darth Vader, Joel Murray, and an Andrelton Simmons fan were some of the dignitaries in attendance tonight. But, as is the trend, the bus trip was the story of the night. The guys befriend a young auto seeker dubbed "Doogie Grapher" and are quite confused about his age and his crusty baseball guy tendencies. Surely no one will yell "Luuuuuuuke" at Luke Voit again, right? Keep up with the auto count and see which players (or broadcasters) are cool and which are D's...

It's Lollapalooza weekend in Chicago and Jack and Jeremy (foolishly?) head to the southside to see the White Sox take on the Oakland A's. G-Rate Field throws a myriad of oddballs at the guys this week and we hear about bad anthem singers, vaping galore, and Baby Eddie Vedder?!? Jeremy gets flack multiple times for wearing an A's hat and Jack gets his view blocked by a couple of backwards hat-wearing bros. It was a non-stop barrage of ballpark bums that were only to be outdone by a raucous group of Lolla losers on the train ride home. Hear all about it on this week's ep!

This week, Jack and Jeremy kick off the pod by talking about the damning video of a grown ass man shoving a little kid for an autograph at the All-Star game last week. The guys move on to talk about the draft and briefly about the game itself. Then we get a full recap of the infamous Jose Canseco Reddit AMA from several years ago and a breakdown of the ridiculous 1989 Jose Canseco Baseball Camp video on Youtube. The guys close out the ep by breaking down the Tony La Russa meltdown on a baseball writer from 1991 featuring a lot of great lines and tidbits and Dave Stewart!

For the second time this season, the guys catch some red hot Baltimore Orioles action, this time at Wrigley Field. The guys find themselves sitting among a work outing of twenty-somethings who might work for a local sports media company yet behave as if they've never been to or watched an actual sporting event. Other highlights include Jack's gripes with the Catalina Club and Jeremy rants again about the abject futility of Daniel Norris. Out by the bus, the guys encounter a barrage of old, gray-haired men trying to get autographs and one bold and obnoxious father and son combo (a different one from Ick and the Stick). The guys get a pretty sweet autograph from a legend too! Check it out and catch that Orioles Fever!

Strap in and hold on tight for an extra long episode this week! Jack and Jeremy experience one of the dumber Wrigley Field crowds they’ve had for the podcast including a boisterous frat boy, two dufuses who sit in their seats for literally two minutes, and a pair of annoying girls who did it all for the ‘gram. Then out at the bus, the guys get some very unexpected autographs which may include a guy who slapped another player this season over a fantasy football dispute (1:39:40). Jack and Jeremy also roast a few coaches and players who snubbed them for autographs. And finally, a previously discussed father and son grapher duo earn their way into the Rain Delay Theater Hall of Shame. This is kind of an angry episode, but hey, what do you expect when the weather turns hot and tensions rise?

First Sox daygame! First bobblehead game! First time seeing the Orioles! NOT the first time a fan was ejected at a White Sox game! Join Jack and Jeremy this week as they recap a raucous-enough day White Sox game on the southside. The guys drive to the stadium and actually find free parking! Then it was running the gauntlet to get a Eloy Jimenez/Luis Robert bobblehead! A lot of excitement even before first pitch. But stay tuned for one of the funniest ejections of one of the most absurd characters ever encountered at G-Rate Field. Before the guys get into the game, we get a pretty decent Cubs/Jason Heyward/Gordon Wittenmeyer rant from Jeremy. Tune in!

Jack and Jeremy return to live game action this week to see the Cubs take on the San Diego Padres. It was a sweltering night at the park and there were an unusual amount of oddballs in the stands for a Cubs game. Meet some new favorites like Abe Drinkin' (AKA Yankee Doodle Dandy), Big K, and Jennifer Garner?!? Jeremy talks about his run in with Alfonso Soriano, Jack is annoyed on multiple levels by an old guy stretching his legs, and the guys recap an active bus hang scene for the Padres. Several cool autographs and player interactions in this one! Mr. Musgrove...Mr. Musgrove...please check this episode out!

Jack and Jeremy reconvene after Jeremy's trip to Scotland to check-in about the trip and former baseball player sighting at the Newark airport, the state of the Cubs and the Sox, and how long Tony LaRussa has as manager on the southside.

Inspired by Madison Bumgarner and Clayton Kershaw, Jack and Jeremy come back at you this week to give you their list of guys who wouldn't sweet spot, aka guys who wouldn't autograph a baseball on the sweet spot for a fan. Is this just an episode where we list a bunch of guys we think are jerks? Maybe, but then again which episode of Rain Delay Theater isn't? Also, we're all treated to an angry rant from Jack at the top of the show about position players pitching.

The guys are back at Wrigley to see the Cubs take on Zac Gallen and the Arizona Diamondbacks this week. The game turned out to me pretty tame but the scene out by the Dbacks team bus was happening! Check out the recap of Jack and Jeremy's autograph seeking and which players, new and old, they had success with! Then it's onto a local Wrigleyville bar, where the guys interacted with some surly Cardinals fans and a wild, Cubs nacho vendor who "struck it rich" at the Kentucky Derby!
