The Lake Worth Monster… The story goes that a bunch of people were at Lake Worth enjoying the scenery when many of them witnessed a seven-foot creature standing on top of a cliff. They claimed that this creature started running towards them, grabbed an abandoned truck tire and tossed it about 500 feet, right at them! Crazy! The witnesses described the beast as, “half man, half goat, towering seven feet tall and weighing 350 pounds. There have been multiple eye witnesses to the Lizard Man but the one that put the creature on the cryptid map occurred on June 29, 1988. A 17-year-old South Carolina resident, Christopher Davis was driving home from work late at night and according to Davis, it would be a night to remember. He encountered the creature while changing his car tire and described it as, "...red eyes glowing, three big fingers, long black nails and green rough skin. It was strong and angry."
