Ep. 191 - Adding to the Endless - Spider-Man: Return of the Sinister Six
19/07/2022 Duración: 42minThis week on the podcast, we're adding another one towards the bottom of the list: It's 1992's Spider-Man Return of the Sinister Six. One look at the box art and you'd think yes I want to spend my money on this game. One look at the gameplay and you'd immediately know you've made a huge mistake. Definitely one of those games that benefit from the time before the internet and when rentals were booming. This is an avoid at all costs game that you'll love hearing about as we add it to the Endless List of Video Games. Where did it end up? Find out on the podcast or check out the complete list (linked here).

12/07/2022 Duración: 45minThis week on the podcast, we're adding the 2nd Batman Arkham game in Batman: Arkham City. A much improved game to the already pretty good Arkham Asylum, this game brings Batman to an entire district within Gotham which has been converted into a prison (for some reason). 28/06/2022 Duración: 44minThis week on the podcast, we're adding our first Japanese produced live-action movie to the list of video game movies with Yakuza: Like A Dragon. This movie was a totally unknown quantity for the entire crew on the podcast. We also had done very little research before watching it so we had no clue what to expect. Turns out the movie is pretty good and keeps to the Yakuza-style quite well. It even pulled off the wild antics of Goro Majima and was able to showcase some of the wilder side stories from the game series. Where did it land on our list of video game movies? Find out on the podcast or click here for the spoiler.

Only released in Japan, it has the All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) license but cleverly features reskins of wrestlers from a wide variety of pro wrestling and MMA promotions including NJPW, FMW, Pride and so much more. Ep. 184 - ISB Goes to the Movies - Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
31/05/2022 Duración: 37minHironobu Sakaguchi, the man who made Final Fantasy, decided he wanted to create a CGI studio and make a final fantasy movie. In the early 2000s, when Final Fantasy VII was one of the best games of the last decade and the JPRG franchise was becoming a massive cultural hit they decided to make a "Final Fantasy" movie with zero Final Fantasy references! This movie ain't great folks! Where did we rank it? Find out on the podcast or check the complete rankings (linked here).

Ep. 182 - Adding to the Endless - Video Poker
17/05/2022 Duración: 33minThis week on the podcast we're adding another oddball: It's Video Poker. There was much internal debate as to whether or not this is a video game and yes we deemed it to be both using Video and a Game thus it is a video game. How does one rank a game where you bet money that a random sequence of cards will produce a result that yields you money? Are you ranking the format or the game or maybe both? Find out on the podcast and view the complete rankings (linked here).

Ep. 181 - Adding to the Endless - The Guardian Legend
10/05/2022 Duración: 33minThis week on the podcast, we're adding not only an action-adventure game but also a shoot'em up (or shmup if you will) all in one handy-dandy package: it's The Guardian Legend. This game developed by Compile crossed two genre's in one. It's kinda like Zelda + Blaster Master + Zanac but way more generic than all of those! You play as a woman who turns into a spaceship that shoots things! It's great. Where did it end up on the Endless List of Video Games? Find out on the podcast or check out the complete rankings (linked here).

Ep. 179 - ISB Goes to the Movies - Hitman
26/04/2022 Duración: 36minThis week on the podcast, we're adding another movie from the 2000s and Timothy Olyphant's summer in Bulgaria: It's Hitman! The movie based on the franchise of the same name is about a dude named Agent 47. Agent 47 is a bald guy who's been trained from birth to be a Hitman. He gets involved in a conspiracy with the Russian government. It's a whole thing. The actual plot of this movie is confusing as fuck and involves the assassination of the Russian leader's body double(?), Desmond from Lost, the Organization(who are they?) and a subplot with a Russian prostitute that literally makes no sense. This week we're solving the mystery of where it goes on the List of Video Game Movies. Find out where it landed in the complete rankings.
