Carl and Mike come back with more Falcons talk as they continue to preview Sunday's season opener and share thoughts on what concerns they have about the Bucs to which Mike notes being able to keep Baker Mayfield "in that tackle box" will be key for the Falcons defense. As their conversation continued, they agree beating the Bucs will not be enough and that the Falcons need to dethrone the four-time defending NFC South champs. They then react to more comments from Raheem Morris as he spoke about the team not looking to shift guys around on the o-line as it could make them weaker in two areas vs one.

As they discuss, they share thoughts on the confidence the team has in Pitts and how he appears to have a boost of confidence himself and why they believe Pitts has to have more of an impact, especially with the uncertainty of Darnell Mooney's availability.

Carl and Mike close out the show with final thoughts on college football and some of the outings from over the weekend and share more thoughts on why they believe Kalen DeBoar may not be ready or the guy currently for the Alabama program as they struggled in the season opening loss to FSU. They also note they believe Georgia Tech did a great job in pulling out the win against Colorado, however they need dynamic play from other players than Haynes King.

As they discuss they share thoughts on why they believe DeBoar's coaching may come to be in question due to the fact that he did not take over an Alabama team without talent.

Carl and Mike get into what's on DA-DA's ind and discuss him wearing GT gear into Colorado facilities and getting cussed out by JuJu Lewis, why Alabama's loss to FSU may have made their matchup with Georgia that much more of a must watch game and if Florida State had the best offensive performance among Top 25 teams.

Carl and Mike come back with more brief college football talk and share thoughts on both Texas and Alabama losing their openers to which Carl believes Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns were too conservative with some of their play calling and that the Texas head coach has to prove he can get it done this season. They then get into some of the latest NFL headlines including Micah Parsons reportedly possibly getting an injection as he deals with an L4/L5 facet joint sprain in his back. They also react to Raheem Morris stating Darnell Mooney is listed as day-to-day ahead of the season opener.

Carl and Mike are joined by Connor Riley as they react to the Georgia Bulldogs season opening win over Marshall and why they are starting to show they are heading in the right direction to accomplish the mission of correcting 2024 issues.

Carl and Mike come back with more college football talk as they share thoughts on Georgia's win over Marshall in which Carl and Mike agree there was no doubt in the Dawgs controlling the game, which was expected. And while they agree that Georgia was not expected to show much of their strategies for the season in their opener, however they believe Georgia showed enough, like the big 45 yard reception to transfer Zachariah Branch, to have fans excited about what is to come this season.

Carl and Mike open up the show with some college football talk as they react to some of the games of the weekend including Florida State defeating Alabama to which they highlight the fact they were able to backup quarterback Tommy Castellanos words when earlier this year he said Bama did not have Nick Saban to save them. As they discuss, they share thoughts on whether or not Kalen DeBoar is the right person to lead the Tide after taking over from Saban.
