Carl and Abe get into some NFL headlines and share thoughts on the Commanders unveiling of their alternate uniforms to which both the guys the fans should be able to vote on their team's favorite uniform they would like to see use as their alternates. They also react to reports of the Bucs all-pro LT Tristan Wirfs having surgery on his knee and likely going to miss out on the season opener against the Falcons, to which Carl notes he believes the Falcons should be able to take advantage of Wirfs missing. They also debate whether or not the Falcons can take over being the team to win the NFC South.

Carl and Abe get into a brief discussion on reports of MLB dropping a Freddie Freeman documentary in which they question if there is anything additional we could learn in regards to the Braves not re-signing their former first-baseman. As their conversation continued, they also share some brief thoughts on whether or not the Braves may have made a mistake in their decision to not bring Freeman back.

Carl and Abe come back and get into some more Braves discussion to which Carl believes it is ok for fans to be disappointed with how the team has performed this season. They then share some thoughts on the Emirates Cup groupings in which the Hawks were placed in the East Group A with the Cavs, Pacers, Wizards, and Raptors and why they believe the in-season tournament is a good way to draw more excitement about the NBA season.

Carl and Abe open up the show with thoughts on the Braves 10-1 loss to the A's on Tuesday as Abe notes he believes "there is nothing coming" of the remainder of the season for the Braves in regards to them reaching the playoffs. As they discuss, they note Didier Fuentes being optioned down after allowing eight earned runs in the first inning and Ronald Acuna Jr. being scratched do to back tightness, leading Carl to believe there is some possibility Atlanta may have been resting their all-star outfielder ahead of the homerun derby and All-Star Game.

Carl and Abe close out the show with final thoughts on Kirk Cousins and his decision to not reveal how hurt he was last season sooner than he did to which Carl believes he should be held accountable for that and Raheem Morris should not be taking as much blame, which Abe believes he should because he should have made the decision to bench Cousins much sooner than he did.

As they discuss why Carl believes Cousins should be held accountable for failing to come forward with his injury.

Carl and Abe come back with more thoughts on Kirk Cousins' comments on quarterback to which Carl believes the veteran quarterback simply needs to say "I'm sorry" for not coming forward about being injured, while Abe believes Raheem Morris also should have to apologize for not "making the tough decision" to bench Cousins when it was obvious Cousins was dealing with an ailment.

Carl and Abe open up the show with their reactions to Kirk Cousins comments made on the Netflix series 'Quarterback' in which he stated he felt misled by the Falcons after signing with the team and then watching them draft Michael Penix Jr. As they discuss, Abe shares that after watching the entire series, his frustration is with Raheem Morris for not making the call to bench Kirk Cousins once he realized the veteran quarterback was injured. Carl also notes he believes Cousins' statement in which he said had he known the Falcons would make the move of drafting Penix Jr. he may have altered his decision, alluding to possibly considering staying with the Vikings, to which Carl believes was not an actual option for Cousins.
