Carl and Mike get into what's on DA-DA's mind as they react to Deion Sanders saying how surprised he was by the amount of marijuana smoked in the second quarter at Folsom Field, Dawn Staley saying she would have taken the Knicks head coaching job should they had offered it to her and how they feel about the growth of sponsorship signage in sports.

Carl and Mike get back to Falcons talk with Carl highlighting the fact that they will have four rookies expected to be major contributors at a high level this season in order to have success. As they discuss, Carl believes the key will be for the Falcons to be able to turn teams over and not necessarily have players to be all-pro.

Carl and Mike get back into some Falcons talk as they react to Raheem Morris stating they have not ruled out moving Matthew Bergeron to tackle if they have to do so to which Carl dubs as a "break glass in case" situation and Mike adding that if they do go that direction, it signals their current backup situation is not something they are going to be comfortable with. They then get in other NFL headlines including Travis Hunter being expected to play in Jaguars season opener as he has been dealing with an upper body injury and Tyreek Hill returning to Dolphins practice after dealing with an oblique injury.

Carl and Mike come back with some brief Braves talk as they share some thoughts on how well Ozzie Albies has looked at the plate of late and why they believe the team has to bring him back next season and not let his struggles of this season impact their decision on the second baseman's future with the club. They then shift the conversation to Brian Snitker and his future with the club and share thoughts on if he should return next season, and should he not, what direction the team should go in regard to finding his replacement.

Carl and Mike come back with some brief Falcons talk as they share thoughts on Bralen Trice being placed on the IR and why they "hate it" for him because they believe it will put him behind the eight ball. However the good news of Darnell Mooney returning to practice has them feeling good about him being available for week one. They then get into some Georgia Bulldogs talk as they react to Kirby Smart stating that their opponent every week will be themselves and agree that even if the Dawgs get the win on Saturday, the scoreboard will not be a true indicator of if Georgia is good or not.

Carl and Mike open up the show some Falcons talk as they react to comments from Raheem Morris as he spoke with the media about how the tackle position will be approached and which players will be competing to replace Kaleb McGary. As they discuss, Carl notes he believes that it will truly be difficult to have Elijah Wilkinson or any of the new players acquired to be ready for the season opener therefore there should be some expectation for error.

Carl and Mike close out the show with final thoughts on their conversation on why Michael Penix Jr. may be better off being more of a game manager in regards to the Falcons putting him in the best position to win as they deal with the loss of Kaleb McGary. They then share thoughts on the Braves 12-1 win over the Marlins today and there being some chippiness due to a pitcher going in and high on Ronald Acuna Jr.

Carl and Mike get back to Falcons talk and believe they are bringing in a lot of guys who are "J.I.C....just in case" as they look to move forward without Kaleb McGary and believe the team will still be making some type of deal to bring in an offensive tackle they believe will be best to replace McGary. As the conversation continues, they share thoughts on why Carl believes the McGary situation will likely have Michael Penix Jr. being more of a "game manager" and does not need to be expected to be slinging the ball around the field.

Carl and Mike get back into more Falcons talk and take a deeper dive into the final 53-man roster as they take a look at each position group and determine which gives them rease to have concern, which Mike believes the defensive line going with only five defensive linemen is an issue but notes the reason may be due to the fact that the team held onto seven wide receivers which they believe is a result of injuries to Darnell Mooney and Ray Ray McCloud.
