  • Episode 47-How to Quit Smoking

    26/09/2018 Duración: 01h09min

In this episode, Erica and Billy discuss one of the most hated murderers in their home state of Indiana, a man executed for 4 murders but suspected in hundreds of other crimes. And although this shitbag was brought to justice and fried, the story hit much closer to home than Erica thought it would when choosing this case to cover. It was extremely difficult to research and record, and is not for the faint of heart. Grab a drink, a smoke, a vomit bag, whatever you need, and enter at your own risk. Check out our social media when you're done for some exclusive pictures (that you wont find online) relating to this case. The show artwork was created by Chris Axmann. Thank you, Chris. Thanks, as always, go to MinimusNoah for the music at the end of each episode. Be sure to listen until the end for his new song-Mellow Forest. *Apologies for any sound interference in this episode. There were some issues with our bitch ass editing software. Womp, womp, womp, womp....wooooommp.* In this episode, Erica and Billy discuss what properties an area needs to deem it flammable and how NOT to perform "Stop, drop, and roll". The forecast for this episode is heavy snow-fire followed by gusts of people-rain. Be sure to bring your umbrella...or just steer clear of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory. The show artwork was created by Chris Axmann. Thank you, Chris! Thanks, as always, go to MinimusNoah for the music at the end of each episode. This week, Erica and Billy tackle another listener suggested topic, and delve deep into some decades-old murders committed by some unlikely culprits. Its true love and 90's grunge rock with a splash of 22-caliber rifles, barrels, and mine shafts. And at the end, you'll get to hear why Billy is a psychopath! • Episode 44-Shot-Back Mountain

    15/08/2018 Duración: 02h13min

This week, Erica and Billy bring you an extra long episode covering an extra long fuck up by the U.S. government. And it all centered around one man who just wanted to live with his family in solitude in northern Idaho. He found out the hard way that you can still have asshole neighbors on a remote mountain ridge. When all was said and done, over 400 government agents and officials would be called in to arrest this one man. Magnificently mustachioed Geraldo Rivera even makes an appearance! And during an 11-day stand-off, several people would end up shot in the back and/or dead. Way to go, 'Merica! • Episode 43-Owl Parkour

    01/08/2018 Duración: 01h20min

In 1955, at a rural farmhouse in Kentucky, something never before witnessed took place. A large group of family and friends were taunted into an overnight shootout by strange, seemingly invincible creatures that looked metallic and appeared to float through the air. Many claimed the sightings were just a hoax, but the U. S. Air Force claimed the witnesses did have an interaction that night, but were just wrong about what they had seen. The group was actually tormented by...silver-painted monkeys that escaped from a circus! And although that would have been totally badass, it was complete malarkey. Join Erica and Billy this week as they try to make sense of little metallic men vs. pissed off birds of prey, and take old friend "Balls Deep" Joe Nickell to task on his explanation of events! After you've listened, be sure to get on social media and share your thoughts and theories! The show artwork was created by Chris Axmann. Thank you, Chris! • Episode 42-The Best Part About Having Gonorrhea and Syphilis (Part 1)

    04/07/2018 Duración: 01h07min

Over 90 years ago, a serial sexual killer was on the loose. His hunting ground-all across the United States and into Canada. When his spree came to an end, at least 22 people, and possibly more, lay in his wake. But before then? He was a crazy religious fanatic of a child that drowned his food in olive oil and then slurped it up without utensils in between his many costume changes and lifting heavy chairs with his teeth. And he had the herpegonosyphiclap and a massive head injury. Sounds like the perfect ingredients for making serial killer pie! Join Erica and Billy this week to learn about The Dark Strangler's bizarre early life in Part 1! And make sure you're subscribed so you won't miss Part 2, all about the heinous murders and necrophilia committed across the U.S. and Canada! The show artwork was created by Chris Axmann. Thank you, Chris! Thanks, as always, go to MinimusNoah for the music at the end of each episode. Be sure to listen until the end for the new song-Too Many Voices-off of his new album Vie

  • Episode 41-Poem, poem, poem...should have had more Sake

    20/06/2018 Duración: 01h16min

If you or someone you know is having suicidal thoughts or needs someone to talk to, please seek help. Here in the U.S. you can call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline @  1-800-273-8255. If you don't call them, then please call or talk to someone else. You can even contact us. We're here for you and you matter! This week, Erica and Billy dive deep into the centuries-old Japanese Samurai ritual of preserving or reclaiming one's honor by self-disembowelment. Whether voluntary or ordered as capital punishment, the Samurai had to be one bad mofo to cut open his belly without showing any signs of pain. Want to know how it felt? Then buckle up because all the grisly details and history will be spilled (much like the Samurai's intestines). It'll be a bloody good time-if you can hack it. (See what we did there?) When you're done listening, let us know if you think you could pull it off on our social media! The new show artwork was created by Chris Axmann. Thank you, Chris! And thank you to Murder.ly for giving o

  • Episode 40-Setting Your Hair On Fire Is Like Yoga...Really, When You Think About It

    06/06/2018 Duración: 01h14min

When an Australian police officer calls up the FBI and says, "Don't think I'm mad, but I'm gonna tell you this story about Jesus Christ reincarnated in the female form," the agents know its going to be a good day at the office. This week Erica and Billy cover their first cult and discuss alternative yoga poses, purple thrones, LSD, and how any two things are alike...when you really think about it. Dive in and then give us your thoughts on social media! • Episode 39-The Bad Decision Bandit Goes Postal

    23/05/2018 Duración: 01h25min

Think of one of the most boring U.S. government jobs you could have and you might think of working for the United States Postal Service. Taking customers' money and putting a stamp on their package. Sorting addresses between countries, states, cities, and zip codes. Driving, or even worse-walking, from mailbox to mailbox to mailbox. But there's always the exciting risk of papercuts, anthrax-laced envelopes, and getting shot! Who wouldn't want this dream job? This week Erica and Billy will dive into the beginning of a wave of workplace violence that started in the 80's and had it's own slang term by the 90's. There will be confession, a ham radio, a bike, and murder...lots and lots of murder. And there will be a grisly short story at the end of the episode, so be sure to stay tuned! A HUGE THANK YOU TO AMELIA! She felt inspired by Billy "Snugglebunny" Jones, and wrote a wickedly good short story about his dark beginnings. She was then kind enough to read and record it and send us the audio to use on the show!

  • Episode 38-I'm Old Craig!

    09/05/2018 Duración: 01h09min

In the 3rd installment of the Kids Who Kill series, Erica and Billy delve into the story of one of the youngest multiple murderers in U.S. history, committing 4 vicious murders by age 15. But as a juvenile, the courts' hands were tied and he got just 5 years in juvenile detention. But good old Craig just doesn't know when to shut the fuck up and keep his hands...and teeth...and shanks...to himself. Boy, if Erica and Billy had a nickel for every time someone got bitten or stabbed in this episode? Well, let's just say it would be enough to put into a tube sock and turn it into a deadly clubbing weapon. If you're ready for a slasher, then dive in! The new show artwork was created by Chris Axmann. Thank you, Chris! Thanks, as always, go to MinimusNoah for the music at the end of each episode. 11/04/2018 Duración: 02h20min

In their first crossover episode, Erica and Billy are joined by Kate from the Ignorance Was Bliss podcast to discuss an incredibly unstable man and the carnage left in his wake. Was he schizophrenic? Was he faking? Was he really into organic protein shakes? Spoiler alert: the answer to that last question was yes. Like, RAW organic, if you catch my drift. But how do we as a society decide who to lock up and who will get the key to treatment, rehabilitation, and eventually freedom? Join the debate after listening and give us your thoughts on social media! Erica and Billy want to extend a HUGE thank you to Kate, one of our biggest supporters from our humble beginnings who is now braving the overwhelming world of podcasting herself! Then look no further! Just let Ahmad's dad that he saw in a dream when he was 10 tell you how! In this week's tell-all, Erica and Billy will reveal the ritual needed to acquire true invincibility as they discuss one of Indonesia's worst serial killers. THIS is the episode that was not meant to be! For almost a year, Erica and Billy have recorded this episode a total of 3 times, and every time the audio files have been corrupted or lost...until now! (Unless you go to listen and it's just white noise. If so, the bitch has won cause Erica and Billy are over it.) Join them this week as they further descend into madness with the case of a murderous mother who enlisted the help of her own children to beat, torture, and kill 2 of their own sisters.
