Meet Lauren Bartley
15/11/2015 Duración: 03minFor prospective interns, we have them send in three to five minutes of audio basically telling us who they are. They are asked to not just read us their resume. In the past, we've had interns rap their cover letter (special shout out to Snadecki). We thought Lauren's audio was honest and worth posting. All we did was add music to it.

Intern Alana Pedalino reviews The Leftovers via Andy Duke - she ain't like it
25/10/2015 Duración: 05minBy Alana Pedalino Voice recording by THE great Andy Duke The Leftovers has gone stale. Though the HBO series’ second season has garnered positive reviews so far, I ain’t buying what HBO is selling. It’s not that the show is bad – HBO wouldn’t have greenlit it if it was. However, after a lukewarm first season that withheld action and information until its ninth episode or so, I had expectations for the second season to be different and elicit more growth from its main characters. Unfortunately, all that seems to be different is the setting and the directors’ choice to include more racial diversity in some not-so-subtle casting decisions. Actually, subtlety is a weak point for The Leftovers. The show tries so hard to be bizarre and symbolic and it just doesn’t work. It has plenty of opportunities to be surrealist and clever, but misses out on most of them. That combined with the utter joylessness of the show and all of its characters makes this show a pretty depressing watch. Don’t get me wrong, it’s underst

Composer Max Richter - HBO's "The Leftovers"
02/10/2015 Duración: 04minWe've sat on this for quite some time. Max Richter is composer for HBO's series, "The Leftovers." He's a classical genius, with a contemporary edge. We waited on this because we wanted to do this right and still really want to do more. But being that the series returns to the screen this Sunday, we figure why not hear what we were able to cut up. The Leftovers Season 2 airs this Sunday, October 4 at 9pm. Till then, here's a of Season 2: Episode #1 Clip "Nora & Erika" (HBO) https://youtu.be/m055pnQ-S-k Photo credit: Van Redin/HBO

24/06/2015 Duración: 06minWe went to Firefly Music Festival and had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Cody Simpson. There we sat, in Dover, DE in a tent that gave its strongest attempt at shielding us somewhat from the humidity. Cody spoke to us about his new album, Free and what it means to him. He also sheds light on who influences him and what he's learned along his journey. The kid is kinda wise for being only 18. Enjoy.
