In the words of Monty Python, and now for something completely different.  This week the CTC crew watched and discussed the low budget indie film Upstate Story from Shaun Rose.  Also new release news and celebrity deaths plus the first awards news of 2018.

It's a full house this week on our CTC Thanksgiving special.  Both Garvis 2 and 3, Kayla, Brett and Cassie follow a great Thanksgiving meal with a discussion of John Hughes' classic Thanksgiving film, Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

Change of plans this week as the CTC crew discusses the 1958 caveman film Monster on the Campus.  Plus a look at new releases for home video and in theaters.

Based on the book by Jean Auel, The Clan of the Cave Bear tells the story of Ayla, a young Neanderthal girl orphaned and raised by a clan of Cro-Magnons.  This week the CTC crew examines the 1986 adaptation starring Daryl Hannah.

How does a family deal with a dad that is manic depressive?  That's the central question of this week's film, Infinitely Polar Bear.  Mark Ruffalo must learn to deal with his mental illness while also taking care of his two daughters while his wife tries to get her degree.  The CTC crew also looks at celebrity deaths, new releases, and the films we watched last week.  Oh and a long discussion of the James Gunn situation.

From the creators of Boston Legal and Porky's comes a courtroom comedy starring Judd Nelson.  This week the CTC crew takes a look at From The Hip.  We also look at new releases and discuss what we watched last week.

Some films are designed to make you think.  David Lynch's Eraserhead is designed to make you feel.  Filmed in black and white with an industrial landscape of sight and sound Eraserhead may very well be the most polarizing film the CTC crew has examined yet.

After a week off the CTC crew is back with a classic American western for the 4th of July weekend, John Ford's Stagecoach from 1939.  In addition we cover the new releases from the last couple of weeks and Garvis3, Kayla and Brett all discuss Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom.

This week CTC goes down to the third level of the dream state to uncover the secrets of Christopher Nolan's Inception.  In addition we discuss new releases, celebrity deaths, and what we watched last week.
