If 2024 had already been off to a frenetic start then the F1 world just went and threw up on itself once again. Lewis has left the building, yes the main man at Mercedes is fulfilling a life long dream and has joined Ferrari for 2025. If he can bring a title home then there is no denying his legacy, he will be the greatest of all time. Controversy galore as Andretti are denied entry, Horner is under investigation and new circuits are added as the calendar gets a mix up. Triple treat for the ages. It was Maximum Verstappen at Qatar, with a third crown. The sky is the limit for Max, how many title will his career end in? That Aussie boy has speed. Piastri takes a maiden F1 win, with a sprint pole and victory, but you have to feel for Lando watching both Australians take a win. When will it be Landos turn? Stroll threw the toys out of the cot and serious questions have to be asked. The FIA are investigating his incidents. Is that the straw that broke the camels back? And Andretti are set to arrive. The green light has all but been given to join the grid as we expand the field, just don't mention it to James Vowes.

Normal service has resumed with a Verstappen win and a 6th Constructor title sewn up. A sprint to decide the title and that's season 2023 in the books. Of 2nd is all that is needed, a DNF is not. A shocker from Perez puts him back under the pump. With 3 replacements waiting in the wings, the time to deliver is now. 17th and 20th at the season opener, and a 2nd and 3rd in Japan. Has there been a better season revival than McLaren's? Piastri with a 3yr extension and a first podium to boot. All signs point to the top of the grid. The Rebull streak comes to an end as the Spanish meistro completes a smooth operation in Singapore. Ferrari are back....or so it seems.
