DJ Kyle Long talks with Art Adams and Mike Strauss of The Art Adams Band. Art is a member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame and tonight he'll be talking about his Memphis Dream box set, a collection of music he recorded at the legendary Sun Records in 2016.

Kyle looks back at interviews that he's done with the three of the pioneers of Indiana psychedelic music: Producer Moe Whittemore who founded 700 West records and recorded and released the self-titled debut LP from Beech Grove's Zerfas. The album has been described as the "Sgt. Pepper of the Midwest."; Lester Johnson who co-founded the psychedelic soul group Ebony Rhythm Band.; Ron Matelic of Sir Winston and the Commons and Anonymous. In 1966 Sir Winston and the Commons released one of the first Indiana psychedelic records "Not the Spirit of India.".

In 2016 Carrington Clinton (aka Clint Breeze) formed one of the most amazing bands in Indy (Clint Breeze and The Groove) and recorded one of the most musically and conceptually epic Indiana albums I've ever heard (Nappy Head). Carrington patiently went through EVERY track on that record with me for a special "Nappy Head" edition of Cultural Manifesto. This is the first part of a two part episode.

A special hour long tribute for Indianapolis jazz legend Billy Wooten, who passed away earlier this year.
