Interesting people. Intriguing conversations. Improvised comedy sketches?!?Sketch Comedy Podcast Show is a one-of-a-kind interview experience where people who are or do things that are extraordinary have a fun, relaxed and open conversation with someone who is ultimately curious... who then has the audacity to tell the guest that they are going to improvise a comedy sketch right then-and-there about the same things they talked about. The results are often surprising and fun!In one week the host, Stuart Rice, will have the conversation with the guest and in the next week he will have the sketch, which includes the setup for the sketch, the edited and produced sketch and, at the very end of the show, the raw, unedited version of the sketch if you are interested.Join in the fun! There are serious moments, funny moments, and all of the moments in-between!

  • "The BEST Accommodations" with Adelaide | The Most Interesting Person In The World

    18/09/2016 Duración: 01h03min

Listen to the sketch on YouTube here!: https://www.youtube.com/embed/lh-RE9fHc8s Hey Everybody! Thanks for tuning in! Maybe you even did it from TuneIn Radio, which is great because you can tell Alexa that you want to hear our show just by asking for it! For this episode, I established that I really wanted to find interesting people for the podcast. In my humble opinion, there is no one I know more interesting than my friend Adelaide. Adelaide spent 20 years of her life traveling and not having a permanent residence, so she has a story about literally everything. EVERYTHING. Whatever the subject matter, she has some twisted thing that happened to her, or that she witnessed, or that she witnessed happening to someone or herself or… you’ll understand once you get into the episode. She is absolutely lovely and I think you will really enjoy getting to know her, I know I have. Did you know that that the nicest thing you can do for a podcast is to give it a really great review? In fact, let me give you an example o

  • "It’s All In The Arm" with Josh McCullough | Co-Host of the "Shotgun and Scotch" Podcast

    28/08/2016 Duración: 01h31min

Originally Released 8/28/2016 * https://www.youtube.com/embed/6THn4MDEixM A little SCPS history about this episode. Alisha had decided she did not want to do the show anymore, which was totally understandable. I, however, didn’t have the same feeling, so I wanted to keep it going. I needed to figure out how to do it, and I decided I was going to get a ringer for the show, and I did. Josh McCullough is a close friend, a fellow bandmate and is a fellow podcaster. Whenever we get together, we try to entertain each other with what we are talking about which was perfect for this episode. Currently, Josh is working WITH Alisha on the very popular and successful true crime podcast “Murder in the Rain” where Josh is the producer and makes everything sound so good! This is genuinely one of my favorite episodes of all time. It’s really just Josh and I chatting and then making one of the most epic sketches this show has ever produced. This week's sketch: "It's All in the Arm" about what happens when Pokemon Go gets out

  • "Kreative Kheerleading Kompetition" with Alisha Holland | Co-Creator of "Sketch Comedy Podcast Show"

    16/08/2016 Duración: 01h05min

Watch the sketch on YouTube here!: Alisha comes back (or forward, depending on how time works for you). She’s fun, she co-created the original show, blah blah blah. First off, apologies for the apparent vacuums that are coming out of our faces. This was an episode where the technical difficulties definitely overwhelmed us, which is why this is kind of a lost episode. For some reason, Alisha’s audio vanished, but after a lot of processing I was able to get it back. Why did I spend so much time on this? Because what a delightful conversation about Stuart’s anatomy, Alisha’s horrifying movie experience and more! Then, we use a thing that happened at one of Stuart’s daughter’s cheer competitions to come up with a sketch. Season 2 is going to be great! I’m really excited about it! So far I have assembled some pretty fun names and pretty interesting people. The season is going to start off with a great sketch with Mike Phirman of “Hard ’n Phirm” fame. There are a number of songs of theirs that I absolutely adore,

  • "Fitbit Truth" with Alisha Holland | Co-Creator of "Sketch Comedy Podcast Show"

    15/08/2016 Duración: 01h01min

Watch the sketch on YouTuber here!: So this episode and the next episode feature Alisha Holland, because we had episodes we had recorded and never released. This one was full of conflict during the recording of the sketch, so if you like awkward silences filled with anger, make sure to stay past the credits! Though we were not connecting on the recording of this sketch, it turned out awesome! There is a YouTube channel we believe you should be visiting, and it’s the Sketch Comedy Podcast Show channel on YouTube! (bit.ly/SCPSyoutube) It’s kind of great, and getting better all of the time! Stuart is constantly adding new sketches (okay, constantly is maybe a bit far-reaching) but will definitely be encouraged to do so if there is some traffic! Visit sketchcomedypodcastshow.com for a link directly to our YouTube page where you can listen to individual sketches, recording sessions, and then complete shows! However you like to get your Sketch Comedy Podcast Show, YouTube has it! It’s not enough to run, these day

  • "Did You Get That?" with Alisha Holland | Co-Creator of Sketch Comedy Podcast Show

    14/08/2016 Duración: 44min

Listen to the sketch on YouTube here!: https://youtu.be/RGJQnvKXOVM This is one of my favorite all-time sketches that Alisha and I did, I think it is fantastic and really just well executed. Sometimes some of my favorite humor is when a character gets into a really uncomfortable or awkward situation and sees his or her way through it, this is not one of those cases. Also, the punchline on this sketch was perfect. So we have finished migrating the podcast over to the new service, iTunes has been updated and now you can actually see our delightful artwork in Apple Podcasts and hopefully everywhere! That has been a thing I have wanted so badly for so long! Also, I want to really quickly read a review from someone and urge you to jump onto whatever service you are using and give us a quick 5-star review. If you do, I will absolutely read one at the beginning of every episode! I would really appreciate this, I would like to get at least 100 reviews by the end of summer, so I need one a day… you could be the one!

  • "The Tinder Games" with Alisha Holland | Co-Creator of Sketch Comedy Podcast Show

    07/08/2016 Duración: 01h04min

Listen to the sketch on YouTube here!: https://youtu.be/EmRV86iTXQc This week, we go back to the laboratory and try something different with the format of the show, as was suggested by friend of the show Jason Marshall (@jasonmarshall2) who he himself has a great podcast called “We Don’t Have Cookies” (URL) which Stuart has actually had the pleasure of being on (you can listen to that episode here: URL). So we are going to call this the Marshall Initiative and see if you like it better. I think it makes the most interesting parts of the show front and center and am pretty sure it will be a crowd favorite as well. We start off with the conversation between Alisha and Stuart. Stuart gets offensive in the introduction. Alisha went to the coast to a casino for her birthday played the inside and won! But still won’t put any money into the show. Stuart should never play craps because he causes people a lot of pain. Stuart is “huggable” and he wants to cry. Alisha and Stuart agree that Paul Rudd is the ultimate; Ali

  • "I Want a Pony!" with Alisha Holland | Co-Creator of Sketch Comedy Podcast Show

    31/07/2016 Duración: 01h48s

Listen to the sketch on YouTube here!: https://youtu.be/jP03Pas3jmQ Hey everyone! It’s the second episode! Once again I am lucky to have Alisha Holland on the podcast with me and we have a great time coming up with a sketch about childhood dreams gone awry. Also, you are invited to come and check out the new website! I love it! It’s a combination of the episodes, a blog, and it’s all wrapped up into a tidy little package. If you are thinking about starting a podcast and would like some tips, please go to the new website and contact me and one of the things I will suggest is finding the right podcast hosting company… I finally think I have done that. And now, enjoy episode 2 “I Want a Pony”: During the recording session, we talked about all sorts of good things like #DuckFetish #OnFappingPond and other things related to water fowl. Alisha gets older. Send us money, or send money to Bernie Sanders, either way, if you match Alisha’s age in money to either get at T-shirt! #HipsterEmo - The hipster that knows too

  • "One Night Stand" with Alisha Holland | Co-Creator of Sketch Comedy Podcast Show

    24/07/2016 Duración: 01h08min

Listen to the sketch on YouTube here!: Welcome to the first episode of Sketch Comedy Podcast Show! Well, not the first episode, but the first episode of the revamped Sketch Comedy Podcast Show. Catch the sketch alone on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/K5fFeNDQo So what changed? Well, we found out that people like to hear the discussions that lead to the sketches, so we decided that should be part of the show. Then, we decided that instead of doing four sketches in a week, we went with one a week. Lastly, it felt like it was time to start inviting other people to be on the show finally, so we decided to do that. Then, my partner on the podcast, Alisha, decided it was time to take a hiatus. It was a bit of a crisis, because I didn’t know what to do… suddenly I was forced to make a decision: Do I carry on and talk into a microphone on my own or do I wrap up the show and be done with it? Then, I realized that the show could exist, but it couldn’t be the same. It never really will be, and I really love the sho
