In this week’s episode you will hear a recording of a coaching session that I did with one of my clients - Christina Cooper. Christina is a coach and a therapist and she’s already transitioned from charging by the hour to enrolling clients onto longer term coaching packages but as you’ll hear in this session she had some ‘teething pains’ with that, feeling uncomfortable about talking to clients about money and as you’ll hear, all of that turned out to be what I call a grounding issue. The cool thing about this is that within a few days of us doing the session Christina enrolled a client on a 2.5k 6-month coaching package. In this week’s episode you will hear a recording of a 1-1 coaching session I did with one of my clients Tanya Alexander. Tanya is a professional photographer, Therapist and life coach and she is doing a programme of mine called ‘Escape Velocity – The Transition Blueprint’ and during that programme people get 1-1 coaching in a group context. When Tanya came on the call for her coaching session she wanted to get coaching around a number of fears – agoraphobia, claustrophobia, fear of flying and generalised anxiety, and so the reason I thought that would be such a great topic for this podcast is because the solution with those is the same as it is for ALL our fears, worries and anxieties. This episode is a little bit different to the usual format because it’s the recording of a conversation I had with Clarity Coach and Mentor, Nick Bottini. I met Nick a couple of years ago when he was in the beta-test group for the programme that became 'The Thriving Coaches Blueprint’. Nick is a coach; he wanted to grow his practice and he got more and more interested in the principles behind clarity. Now Nick has written a book called ‘Just Play’. He’s doing amazing stuff, some of which you will hear about in this episode.  We got on a call because he wanted to explore ideas about how he could get his book to reach as many people as possible and how to get it on to the bestseller lists. Part of it is a coaching session and part of it is a chat between friends about something he wants to accomplish - something I have experience of. In this session, you’ll hear me coaching Liz Scott. What starts out as a 'tactical' question about coaching packages (what's involved, how do they work etc) turned into a much deeper conversation about value, integrity and who you really are. Liz is a coach and trainer who works with a wide variety of individuals and organisations, ranging from police forces to education authorities. She collaborates with schools and works directly with children, teachers and head-teachers. And one of the interesting things about Liz is that she worked as a reporter and producer for the BBC for 12 years.
