Forever Midnight

In this week's episode, the FM3, get the hell out of Canada and find themselves in sunny Australia, the land of big bugs, jacked studs and ugly mugs! Well only ugly and jacked if you were one of the "actors" in the 1993 ozploitation film "Body Melt". For years the Forever Midnight Crew held high hopes that this movie would bring them a treasure trove of the grossest and goriest deaths to ever grace the silver screen. The holy grail if you will of juicy, slippery bodies turning into kangaroo stew movies.  But once again, Jef, Josh and Brian learn some hard lessons when it comes to getting their hopes up and how quickly their hopes can split open and turn to shit like an overcooked hot dog. In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian find themselves back in the land of beautiful blue denim. That's right, you guessed it CANADA!!  The crew is outside of an upscale clothing store waiting for their newest experimental Jeans to drop. But as the FM3 rush the doors to get their asses in some fancy pants they are met with a blood soaked army of killer denim. The guys have two choices: battle the blue jeans or figure out why the denim is on a murderous rampage. Quick decisions were made and the guys figured when would be the next time they could fight some haunted pants...So weapons were gathered and The Forever Midnight crew put up a good fight but alas the ghost pants kicked their butts and drank their butt blood. This episode is dedicated to the best damn horror podcast there ever was...hopefully they are looking down on you from the big jean shorts in the sky hoping you enjoy this episode.

In this episode, Jef, Josh and Brian hop in the not so way-back machine and travel to the 1990's. The mission was to see the aftermath of a post "Scream" world where every studio and director just wanted the hottest young doofs in Hollywood and had a total and complete lack of ideas and love for the genre. The FM3 crash landed in 1998 trying to get there in time to disrupt the making of Urban Legend in hopes of ending the production but alas they were too late and they arrived on opening day September 25th, 1998. As they saw the young people pouring in to watch UL1, they decided to finally give it a watch...what you are about to hear is an account of what befell this group of horror podcasters, it is all more tragic that they were old and jaded and knew this movie was gonna be dog shit, but they could not have expected nor would they have wished to see any more "Scream" rip-offs. For them an idyllic time travelling afternoon would become a nightmare as they could not stop or reverse the ripples these types of

In this week's episode the FM3 has their poison picked for them by one of their fantastic top tier Patrons! The film picked is the 2017 "Pyewacket" and even though they had been put off by the name they head over to Amazon Prime where they can stream it for free and hope for the best. If this movie blows they might have to perform a ritual to summon an entity to go after the one who chose it for them...muahahahahahaha. In this week's episode Jef, Josh and Brian dive back into the theater to suck down some popcorn and swallow some souls as they check out Evil Dead Rise! The crew was super excited and maybe a little scared to get out of the cabin and into the city to see the newest installment of this beloved franchise. Hopes were high that the producers would deliver unto horror fans another bloody masterpiece like the 2013 re-imagining. As the credits rolled the FM3 left the cinema super thrilled to see evil doing its worst in all the best ways and thankful that scary movies are alive and well.

In this episode things get heated as Josh takes Jef and Brian for a ride through the seedy and slippery underbelly of 1980's Hollywood. This horny ass film is filled and ready to spill with so much creepin', sleepin', sweatin', pettin', and a whole lot of Craig Wasson frettin' that the crew soon realize why it is a fan fave. In this week's episode, Brian gets Jef and Josh out in the woods squatchin' again. This time around the FM3 check out the fabled "Night Of The Demon'' also known around these parts as "The one where Bigfoot rips a guys dick out at the root"! Poor old Brian is always hoping for the best and usually getting less than that especially when it comes to scary movies about Sasquatch. The crew wonders if a truly good Bigfoot horror movie even exists or are they just as elusive as that damn Skunk Ape?! Listen and find out today! In this episode the FM3 hop back in the sack with their beloved Hell Priest and a bunch half-assed cenobites for an orgy of evil delights. This time around the crew stumble upon a sweet art sculpture that has imprisoned the extra evil Pinhead just waiting for some poor schmucks to come along and fall for some dumb shit so he can fuck up earth with his new found Freddy Krueger sensibilties. Luckily Jef, Josh and Brian meet the detached soul of Elliott Spencer and hatch a plan to bring that old pin cushion into the dream taint world to be annihilated. The Dark Prince of Pain almost turns the city of New York into a fiery hellscape but The Forever Midnight crew once again save the day by harnessing the power of good with a boisterous conversation about boobs and dicks.

In this special episode the FM3 throw on the old GhostFace masks once again as they sit down and chat about the latest two installments in the SCREAM franchise: "SCREAM" (2022) and "SCREAM 6" (2023)! Who knew that all these years later the horror community would still be talking about SCREAM and it's sequels and better yet not hating them all. This is one of Jef's favorite horror franchises, so it is always fun to see what this uber fan thinks about what new twists and turns have been thrown at the screen for the Ghostface devotees to devour or spit out. In this episode, old JJ Stapes chose the 1983 New Jersey uggo Opus "The Deadly Spawn"! The FM3 have long talked about doing an episode on this legendary flick and just like a meteorite landing in some farmers field, this episode is crashing down right in your lap! No one is safe from the KY-Jelly Glazed dick slugs! So don't make a sound, just sit back and listen as Jef, Josh and Brian realize that maybe, just maybe this so-called "New" Jersey might be ok after all.  

This week's episode is the culmination of decades worth of fantasies and imaginings in our own Brian's little noggin' wondering about the movie "The Slayer" (1982). What could it be? How terrifying is it? What is that sweet ass looking monster up to? The FM3 finally sit down and check out this elusive video nasty and ask the age old question, "Is it a Nightmare or is it?" One thing is for sure poor old Brian will never be the same now that he has seen "The Slayer"!

In this episode it is time to celebrate the one and only Jef Overn and his b-day! Since it is Jef's day of birth Josh and Brian by law had to let him pick the movie. Jef finally pulls the trigger on one of his faves, the 1993 psycho kid flick "The Good Son"! Josh and Brian had been dodging this one for years but now they have had their fates chosen for them and there is no turning back. Get on your warmest clothes cause Macaulay is one Cold ass son of a B in this coming of age tale! Enjoy!

In this episode the Forever Midnight Crew hit up the movie theater to check out M. Night Shyamalan"s newest movie "Knock At The Cabin". The FM3 all agree that they wanna be carried on his shoulders like he carries the movies he has been in lately. As with any Shyamalan flick, our time was split between enjoying it and trying to figure out the twist. Truly a curse now for a man who is a decent filmmaker but will always be assumed to be throwing a curveball. Jef, Josh and Brian then head out of the woods and talk about the weird and wonderful world of Las Vegas for a bit and even get a stinky old DooDoo secret voicemail, So sit back, open your ears and let the soothing sounds of these three ding dongs rattle around in your brain-hole for the next hour and twenty minutes! 

In this Episode the FM3 are back in the saddle after some bouts of the rona. Feeling less like zombies now and excited to see each other's faces they talk about what they have been doing the last couple weeks, looking at mummy toes, gettin' all hot and steamy watchin' 80's flicks and trippin' out trying to decipher the cryptic Skinamarink. Finally the crew sit down to talk about the Patreon pick they have been forced to watch, the indie zombie film "It Stains the Sands Red". What they think is going to be another cookie cutter zombie movie turns into quite the opposite and Josh, Brian and especially Jef were happy to see it go a different direction. So sit back, grab some water and your ziplock baggie full of coke as the Forever Midnight crew trek into the dirty, dusty unforgiving deserts of Nevada just trying to get back home. The conversation as usual is all over the place touching on topics such as broken collar bones, Jef eventually becoming a cyborg, and the item most requested for a Christmas gift in 2022 the "Merkin". In this special episode the FM3 get to finally sit down and chat (on the mics) with their talented buddy Lindsay Kaye of Lively Ghosts. She visited the Forever Midnight crew on their home turf and got them to watch a film from one of her favorite horror franchises "Final Destination"! Jef, Josh and Brian had a ton of fun hangin' with Lindsay, eatin' candy  and watching fools die silly deaths. In this episode the FM3 finally have to pay for all their sinnin' with a quick trip down-under and we don't mean Australia! The crew find themselves in the dark abyss watching Hellbound Hellraiser 2. After the movie they start bumpin' around lookin' at pudding people and jerky folks trying to find an exit to this nightmare. Then Jef, Josh and Brian are faced with the most powerful of the dark underworld's upper management "Leviathan"! It demands souls and if there is one thing Forever Midnight is good at it is tantalizing innocent souls to join them in their dark crusade talking about farts and exotic milks. As expected the soul count was so high that upper management couldn't keep up and shot it's dark matter all over the crew so they ended up getting pooped out of a dirty blood covered mattress in jolly old fake England AKA Canada. All in all it was another solid weekend for The Forever Midnight Podcast!
