Each of us needs to take a long, hard look at our own lives, our own attitudes, our own position in the Kingdom of God! As we think about that, we need to ask ourselves two questions!

I was talking to Dr. Richard Mansfield on the way home from softball last night after I drove home and ran into the road block on Montgomery because of the shootout. We both said to each other JESUS is the answer for our city and country. It is so very tragic what is happening specifically to Albuquerque, as seems not much time goes by until the next killing or wounding of someone. This shootout injured innocent people in their cars driving on Montgomery. JESUS is needed so badly, politics and a new Mayor will not end this.

Man messes it all up. “He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son.” Revelation 21:7 Spiritual warfare against the world, the flesh, and the Devil is one long, continuous struggle. The battleground has front lines and rear flanks. There are soldiers of Christ and backsliders gone AWOL. The Enemy has a strategy, and he’s out to kill, maim, and wound. But God’s strategy is to advance His kingdom and reclaim enemy territory.

Frank Haley of KDAZ Radio Reports: One child is dead and a second was hospitalized after being left in a hot car Tuesday in Portales, New Mexico. Portales Police say that the call came in around 3:25 p.m. at a local daycare facility. When police arrived they found the children not breathing. The children were inside the vehicle for roughly one and a half hours. One child was pronounced dead at Roosevelt General Hospital while the other was taken to a hospital in Lubbock, Texas. Police charged Sandi Taylor, 31, and Mary Taylor, 67, with child abuse resulting in great bodily harm and child abuse resulting in death. They are being held without bond. The identities and ages of the children were not released.

As we look back over five years of ministry at FGGAM, we can lift up our hands to the Lord in praise and declare, “Hei”, Behold…look what the Lord has done! By His grace, His disproportionate favor, God has accomplished far beyond what Dewey could see or imagine at the beginning. FGGAM just moved ahead in faith, relying on God’s grace to carry this ministry through…Grace to go from level to level to level…Glory to glory to glory! God’s grace, His strength, in the face of what looked like unsurmountable circumstances, proved to be the overwhelming power to move FGGAM from victory to victory. This report in the Albuquerque Journal does not surprise me, but it sure does confirm the exodus of Albuquerque residents to Denver. No jobs and high crime are luring people to move out of state, this is something we have been reporting on for years! Three of our kids now reside in Denver! They found great jobs! Just this past month our Smith’s Grocery has been robbed at gunpoint, a customer maced in the parking lot, purse stole, a man stabbed in the neck in the parking lot. This has been a good area! What future does Albuquerque have? It has been overridden with violent crime and a bad economy, not a good equation. Only Jesus can change this. What will it take to end Albuquerque from being the abortion capital? What will it take to deliver UNM from corruption? When will New Mexico end child hunger? When will New Mexico end state government corruption?? When will New Mexico value life? Many questions need to be answered by the people of this state to end un-godly behavior. ABQ Journal Report

Blessed Assurance is a well-known hymn that was written by a woman named Fanny Crosby, who became blind after only 6 weeks of life. – One day in 1873, she was visiting with a friend, Mrs. Joseph Knapp, a musician and the wife of the founder of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. – During their visit Mrs. Knapp played a tune on her piano, which she had recently written. Then she asked Fanny, “What does this tune say?” – After kneeling in silent prayer for a few moments, Fanny stood and said, “To me, it says, ‘Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!’” And then, Fanny began to give the words to Mrs. Knapp and together they wrote one of the greatest hymns ever written! FANNY CROSBY MAY HAVE BEEN PHYSICALLY BLIND, BUT SHE HAD SPIRITUAL VISION! SHE MAY HAVE HAD EVERY REASON TO FEEL SCARED AND UNCERTAIN, BUT HER FAITH BECAME GREATER THAN HER FEARS AND SHE WROTE MORE THAN 8,000 SONGS AND HYMNS DURING HER 95 YEARS ON EARTH!
