I love this quote……… The famed British Evangelist Gipsy Smith used to ask his audience, “Do you really want to see a revival begin?” When the people said yes, Gipsy replied, “Then go back to your home and draw a circle around you on the floor. Then get down on your knees in the middle of the circle and ask God to convert everybody inside that circle. What is REVIVAL? People have so many definitions. How about this from Adrian Rogers…….. Revival always begins when people begin to confess their faults to one another, pray for one another, and forgive one another. Revival isn’t raising the roof with a lot of emotion. It is getting the walls down. It is not just saying, “I am going to get right with God.” It is saying, “I want to get right with my brothers and sisters.” ACTION POINT: When we are reconciled, revival will come. And rejoicing will surely follow. And not any kind of rejoicing, there will be Holy Spirit joy when you know there is nothing between your soul and the Savior and nothing between your soul and a brother! Joy unspeakable! POWERFUL! From Pastor Richard Mansfield of New Beginnings Church in Albuquerque…….Please pray with us, please put on your prayer list at Church! Thank you! Heavenly Father, our hearts break to hear of another senseless shooting and killing that took place in Clovis this afternoon. Wrap Your loving arms around all of those directly affected by this shooting as well as the entire community. Or those that lost their lives, we pray that You fill their families with Your peace, love and grace as they mourn their loss. For those fighting for their life, fill them with Your healing power and strengthen them and their families. Use the Pastors and Christian Leaders to provide healing, wholeness and recovery as they extend their hearts into the wonderful people of Clovis. I pray for the family and friends of the young shooter that are trying to recover from this horrible event that he caused. I thank You Lord for Your love and presence, in Jesus name, Amen!
