In this week's Student Discussion episode, Avery and Charlie talk with Madison and Ava about trials, suffering, and difficulties in life.  They talk about what they can learn from the life of Joseph and his obedience to God even when it wasn't easy.  How can students live that same way today?

This week, we begin a new series called BUILT DIFFERENT.   We look at the life of Joseph and see how he handled adversity, suffering, setbacks, and trusted God in spite of his circumstances.

In this week's Student Discussion episode, Avery and Charlie talk with Tiffany and Lily about Jesus as an innocent baby and a sovereign king.  They discuss why Jesus can be trusted to rule over their lives, but also the struggles they face in allowing Him to do that.  They also discuss their favorite Christmas cookie and their favorite Christmas drink at Starbucks.  This is the final episode of 2023.  Our student services will be back on January 7, 2024.

In our final week of our Christmas Remix series, we look at Jesus as both an innocent baby and a Sovereign King.  Do we see him as both?  Neither?  Why is it important for our every day lives to see Jesus as both?

In this week's Student Discussion, Avery and Charlie turn into a couple of Scrooges.  Perhaps because no one joined them as a guest.  They dump on New Year's Resolutions, classic Christmas movies, songs sung by Mariah Carey, and other Christmas traditions.  Fortunately, they turn their frowns upside down when it comes to Tyler's message on the dragon in the story of the nativity.  They talk about the spiritual and physical realm, how they have faced spiritual battles in their lives, and what to do about it.  They also invite students out for the last Reckless of the year this Sunday night.

Typically, we view the Biblical story of the nativity as cute and sweet, with a little baby and some shepherds and wisemen.  But, did you know that the Christmas story in the Bible involves a dragon and war?  Sometimes, we need to be reminded not just of what's happening physically, but what is happening behind the scenes in the spiritual world.  The birth of Jesus was so important that an enemy was ready to attack.

In this week's Student Discussion episode, Avery and Charlie talk with Hannah and Caleb about their favorite Christmas traditions and what they love about this time of year.  They also talk about Mary and Joseph's role in the Christmas story and how that impacts their own faith.  

In Week 2 of our Christmas series, we look at some of the other characters in the story of the nativity.  Who are they?  What is their story?  Why are they part of this story and what can we learn from them?

In this week's Student Discussion episode, Avery and Charlie talk with Jackson and Caleb about their favorite Christmas traditions, their annoyance with babies and their belief that babies are overrated, but then they get serious about baby Jesus.   They discuss if they ever feel like God is silent and how their view of Jesus affects their lives. They challenge the listeners to be grateful during this Christmas season.

This week, we begin a brand new Christmas series where we are taking a fresh look at a timeless message.  We start by looking at why Jesus came as a baby.  Was this just an ordinary birth or was there something more to it?

In this week's Student Discussion episode, Charlie and Avery talk with Ava and Annalisa about God pursuing us.  They talk about hardships in their lives and how God has used them to draw the students back to Him.   They also discuss how developing the spiritual discipline of reading God's Word helps discover God's heart.Of course, they also chase tangents on cars, Nicaragua, 5" heels, and weightlifting.   But that's what makes it a student discussion episode!

In the final week of our GOD GOT ME series, we look at Psalm 23:6 and how the Lord pursues us all the days of our life.  Are you someone that feels distant from God?  Do you sometimes believe that God is indifferent towards you or out to get you?   We look at what God's true heart is for us.

In this week's Student Discussion episode, Avery and Charlie talk about the types of people we honor in today's culture.  Are we quick to prop people up for their influence, accomplishments, and abilities (what they do) or for their character and integrity (who they are)?  What does it look like to live a life of honor?

In week 6 of our series on Psalm 23, we look at honor and how important it is to God.  Not only are we called to honor God, but in God's goodness He also honors us at times. How can we experience that like King David did?

In this week's Student Discussion episode, Charlie and Avery talk with Tiffanie about our Halloween at Reckless night.   They talk about fear, the things that create fear in their lives, and what they do with fear as Christians.  They also discuss how they have experienced God correct them when they make mistakes.  They also talk about how they have seen God's faithfulness in the tough moments of life.

In our Halloween at Reckless night, we talk about the valley of the shadow of death.  Why do we fear death?  What can we know about God's heart for us in the painful circumstances of life?

In this week's Student Discussion episode, Avery and Charlie welcome back Bowen and the Scottish laddie, Wesley.  They discuss spiritual enemies that they face in life and how they experience God's presence and help in those moments.   They also discuss whether grape or strawberry jelly is better (grape is the correct answer). 

This week, we look at Psalm 23:5a, "He prepares a table for me in the presence of my enemies."  How does God have us when we are surrounded by enemies in our life?  

In one of the most entertaining Student Discussion episodes to date, Charlie and Avery talk with former host, Caleb, about why he got fired from the podcast (he graduated high school), his World Series prediction, and Taylor Swift's lack of talent.  More importantly, they talk about how we are called to pick up our cross and follow Jesus.  How have they experienced God restore their life?  They challenge each other and the listener to prioritize their walk with Jesus and spend time with Him each day.

We are currently in a series called GOD GOT ME, where we are studying Psalm 23 verse by verse. In Week 3 of our series, our seniors help us understand God's heart for us in Psalm 23:3.NOTE: Audio errors kept us from recording Weeks 1 and 2 of this series.
