We look at The Transfiguration of Jesus described in Mark 9 and see that the revelation of the divine nature of Jesus is a revelation of our life in Christ:  a life of grace.  We consider the power of the sacrament of confession to allow Jesus to help us grow in holiness.

After an evening of amazing healings and deliverances, we read in Mark 1:35 "rising very early before dawn, he left and went off to a deserted place where he prayed."  Jesus is the model for our lives as Christians and teaches us through His example, that prayer is the key to living in the Kingdom (life in union with God) here and now.
