The Bunny Man is an urban legend originating in the Fairfax County, Virginia area, mostly around Colchester Overpass, a.k.a. the Bunny Man Bridge, where a man dressed in a rabbit costume attacks people with a hatchet or axe. It is said that if you say "the bunny man" three times at midnight on Halloween while under the bridge, he will appear. The story emanates from an escaped mental asylum patient in 1904 who was on the run in the area. He murdered rabbits, leaving their partially eaten bodies hanging from trees in the area, and eventually murdered a fellow patient. When the authorities discovered him, he ran in front of a train and was killed. After the train passed, the police officers could hear laughter coming from nowhere. Hawk Mountain is located in central-eastern Pennsylvania near Allentown and is known for a wild bird sanctuary. What it is less known for is the story of Matthias Schaumboch, America's unofficial first serial killer. On his deathbed, he confessed to the murder of 11 people, all weary travelers that would stop at this tavern for the night, but would never check out. He would peddle their belongings after he murdered them, and even reportedly ground them up for sausages for the next guests that arrived. In his deathbed confession, he claimed that an evil spirit on the mountain whispered to him day and night, encouraging him to act on murderous impulses. Many believe that Matthias' ghost still haunts the area, and people have heard voices and seen phantom lights in the hills. Full body apparitions have even been spotted. In late December 1980, a series of reported UFO sightings and unexplained lights occurred in the Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk, England. Because of the amount of credible witnesses, and the wide variety of supporting evidence, including a real-time tape recording on one of the nights, the Rendlesham Forest UFO Incident is considered to be Britain's Roswell.On December 26th, three men left the Woodbridge USAF base that skirted the Rendlesham Forest to investigate a possible downed plane, but found a much more curious sight before them. Staff Sergeant Jim Penniston found a black triangle-shaped large object that had landed in the forest and was able to take photos and notes on it, before actually touching it! On the second night, the lights returned, and the Base Deputy Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Charles Halt, went out with some men with the express aim of debunking the whole thing. Loftus Hall is a large country manor on the Hook peninsula, of County Wexford, Ireland. It is said by many to be haunted by the devil and the ghost of a young woman. On this episode we talked to Rona who has experienced many paranormal things in her haunted home. When she first purchased this house, most of the things that happened at that time were to her son, but it wasn't until he left for boot camp in 2005 that things really picked up. Doors would open and close on their own, tv's would randomly get turned on, a rocking chair would get moved around, and the chimes on her clock would go off even though it hadn't been wound up. Jennie Wade was the only direct civilian casualty of the Battle of Gettysburg, when she was hit by a stray bullet on the morning of July 3, 1863. She, her mother & two younger brothers made their way to her sister Georgia's home at 528 Baltimore Street to assist her with her newborn baby. Unfortunately, the house stood between both armies, and during the first day of fighting, it was hit by over 150 bullets.Jennie & her mother began the task of providing bread, water & medical care to the Union soldiers located not far from the house. On July 3, 1863, at 8:00 A.M., Jennie was in the kitchen kneading some bread for the soldiers when a Minie' ball traveled through 2 doors, & hit her. She was killed instantly.
