The Hollow Moon Theory, also known as the Spaceship Moon Hypothesis, suggests that Earth's Moon is completely hollow and is the base of operations for an alien civilization. The favored official scientific explanation is that the Moon is not hollow and broke off from the Earth's crust after it was struck by a massive object the size of Mars, but many conspiracy theorists believe it to be artificially created due to its density and size in relation to Earth, as well as the fact that it rang like a bell for hours when a lunar module from Apollo 12 crash landed there. During the span of three years in the late 1970's, there were reports of poltergeist activity that took place at 284 Green Street Brimsdown, Enfield, England that terrified the Hodgson family. There is a ghostly hound that prowls a rural road outside of Newberry, South Carolina that strikes terror into all who see it. It is a massive spectral white hound, with glowing red eyes, is very aggressive & threatening, chasing and even leaping at witnesses before vanishing into thin air. According to the legend, the hound is said to be the faithful pet of a peddler who was passing through the area sometime in the early 1850s. In the middle of a forest near Kaysville, Utah, lies the remains of a large cement cross that had at one time stood 20 feet tall. There are many legends associated with this cross, but the most notable of them involve a polygamist who owned the land and killed seven of his wives and buried them around the cross. The Yeti, also known as the abominable snowman, is an Asian Bigfoot that is found in the Himalayas. It stands between 8 to 10 feet tall, weighs between 200 and 400 pounds, resembles a huge, upright walking ape, and has a furry coat of brown, reddish, or black hair, not white as most imagine it as having. In the spring of 1941, Reverend William Huffman was asked to deliver last rites at a plane crash nearby. Once he arrived, he realized that this wasn't a plane crash, but rather a silver saucer that had crashed. In February of 1978, an unsolved incident occurred to five young men from Yuba County that is still being investigated by the area police today. The five men are known collectively as the Yuba County Five, and the incident itself is referred to as the American Dyatlov Pass. On February 24, 1978, Gary Mathias, Jack Huett, William Sterling, Ted Weiher and Jack Madruga left a college basketball game at 10 PM with the intention of driving home to get ready for their own league basketball game the next day. Unfortunately, none of the men arrived at their destination.The car they were driving was found two days after a search was launched, but because of a winter storm hitting the area shortly after, the authorities had to postpone the search. Bear Lake is a natural freshwater lake situated on the Idaho-Utah border, and has been called the "Caribbean of the Rockies" due to its unique turquoise-blue color.
