Sinopsis
Meeple Overboard! is a podcast about board games, the gaming community, and our little slice of heaven that plays them. We're Chris and Wendy, and we love board games. Each Saturday, we'll bring you a half-hour episode featuring three segments:1. Shop Talk! We'll discuss a general board gaming topic, answer your questions, or discuss some news.2. Random Rally! We've got lots of interests, and eat lots of tasty things, and have a lot to share. Random Rally! is a few minutes of food for thought on a different topic each week.3. Game Time! Let's dive into a game and tell you what we think about it. We love playing a wide, wide variety of games, so there's lots to review. We'll even take some recommendations.Join us each Saturday for some fun conversation! Contribute to the conversation on our Facebook and Instagram pages or by email. Send us any questions you'd like us to answer.www.facebook.com/meepleoverboardwww.instagram.com/meeple.overboardmeepleoverboard@gmail.comboardgamegeek.com/guild/2946

Meeples at the Movies: Episode 9 The Rise of the Last Skywalker Awakens
09/09/2020 Duración: 50minIt's time to discuss the conclusion to the entire Star Wars saga! Until they release Season 2 of the Mandalorian, and everybody forgets what happened in this movie to make Baby Yoda chicken nugget memes. But until then, this is what we have to discuss, so let's do it. The final, epic, and long conclusion to our review of the Star Wars sequel trilogy. At least thankfully all our reviews of the three movies were shorter than The Rise of Skywalker.

Coimbra
06/06/2020 Duración: 29minCoimbra is a city in Portugal. Or so Google taught me when I had to look up what Coimbra was. Also, we take a few minutes at the start of the episode to discuss our feelings on the Black Lives Matter movement and what we commit to do as a podcast to help people who are systematically disadvantaged. It may not be a perfect message, but we're trying, and if you have something to say to us, please do, we'll listen. If you don't want to hear anything about the situation, you can deal with less than three minutes of it before we review Coimbra.
