As the ATP Tour season kicks off, Seb Lauzier is joined by Andy Murray's former coach, Miles Maclagan and another former top British player, Arvind Parmar to preview the year and give their top tips on what they think will happen along the way. We also hear from world number 1, Novak Djokovic and two of the stars of the 2018 season - Borna Coric and Alex De Minaur.

There are two halves to this week’s show – both featuring seasoned tennis journalist Chris Bowers, biographer of both Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic among others.. At the recent Nitto ATP Finals Chris challenged the rest of the commentary team to a quiz on the history of the finals. That quiz more difficult than we thought it would be so, fortunately, we all had the chance for revenge when the tables were turned and Chris became the very first contestant to play ATP Tennis Radio Mastermind.. We all chipped in with two questions each on his specialist subject, which was Roger Federer.

We continue our look-back on the story of 2018 with some of our favourite interviews from the year. Picking up the story in Toronto, the sixth ATP masters 1000 of the year but of course there’d been a lot of water under the bridge since Rome – Rafael Nadal winning his 11th French Open and Novak Djokovic confirming that he was well and truly back by taking his fourth Wimbledon and after that Djokovic started as the favourite in Toronto but came up against a red-hot young Greek, Stefanos Tsitsipas who beat him in three sets and afterwards Jill Craybas spoke with his coach and father Apostolos. Onto Cincinnati where all the talk was about Novak Djokovic and a career golden masters and shortly after the Serb clinched victory, he spoke with Paul King. And the plaudits would keep coming for Djokovic after he followed up that success with his third US Open triumph to tie the great Pete Sampras on 14 career grand slams. As the year draws to a close and the players either put their feet up somewhere warm and sunny or get back into the lung-busting job of pre-season training blocks, this week we start to look back on the story of 2018 by hearing again some of our favourite interviews from the first half of the season, from the American hard courts of the tennis mecca that is Indian Wells through to the sun-burnt clay and imperial majesty of Rome.
